  • Publication number: 20240134749
Abstract: Responsive to a request from a user device, a content server may perform an electronic discovery function. The request may include information on a quantity of data objects desired from a collection of data objects stored in a repository. Objects stored in the repository may be managed by the content server. The content server may determine a number of batches and process the collection of data objects into batches, each having a batch size. An efficient selection process may be determined and utilized in selecting data objects from each of the batches such that a total number of data objects selected from the collection is not less than the quantity of data objects desired. The content server may make a disk image of the selected data objects and communicate same to the user device over a network.

  • Publication number: 20240095680
Abstract: A method of implementing administrative services for a compensation platform is disclosed. One or more interactive compensation representation views are generated based on an evaluation of mapping rules against a flexible ontology and current data state, the flexible ontology comprising customizable compensation components, relationships, and properties. One or more compensation representation views are dynamically updated in real-time in response to changes in compensation data, user context, or access permissions without requiring manual regeneration of the one or more compensation representations. The one or more interactive compensation representation views include a user interface element displayed in response to a user selection of compensation data, wherein the user interface element provides direct access to compensation information relevant to the selected compensation data without requiring a change to another screen or another user context.

  • Publication number: 20240095645
Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

  • Patent number: 11928964
Abstract: A parking availability predictor system provides a prediction of parking availability that meets a user's specified needs. When the user submits a query for parking availability, he can include desired parking criteria such as location, handicapped status, and desired time to begin parking. The system consults a parking occupancy model which gathers current and historical information about parking occupancy, including parking durations and durations of vacancies between occupancies. The model processes the gathered information into a statistical predictor of parking occupancy and vacancy. The system uses the predictor to predict when parking that meets the user's needs will become available. That prediction, including user-suitable parking locations along with the expected start of their vacancies, is then sent to the user in answer to his query.

  • Publication number: 20230334727
Abstract: A floorplan modelling method and system. The floorplan modelling method includes receiving 2D images of each corner of an interior space from a camera, generating a corresponding camera position and camera orientation in a 3D coordinate system in the interior space for each 2D image, generating a depth map for each 2D image to estimate depth for each pixel, generating a corresponding edge map for each 2D image, and generating a 3D point cloud for each 2D image using the corresponding depth map and parameters of the camera. The floorplan modelling method includes transforming the 3D point clouds with the corresponding edge map into a 2D space in the 3D coordinate system of the camera, regularizing the 3D point clouds into 2D boundary lines, and generating a 2D plan of the interior space from the boundary lines.

  • Patent number: 11776206
Abstract: An extended reality system and extended reality method for digital twins, in which the digital twin can be a virtual asset of a real asset. The real asset can be a real object. For example, an initiation of an event in relation to the real asset causes the extended reality method to generate one or more predicted virtual states which are predicted to achieve the event in the virtual asset. The event can be initiated through the real asset and through the virtual asset. The extended reality method can receive one or more further real states of the real asset which achieve the event. The extended reality method can generate a reality 3D map in an extended reality application which concurrently displays, in the 3D space, the virtual asset in the one or more predicted virtual states and the real asset in the one or more further real states.

  • Patent number: 11417069
Abstract: An object and camera localization system and localization method for mapping of the real world. The mapping can be done in real-time or near real-time to the detection of the real objects by a camera device which is used to capture one or more images of an object. The localization method can be used to generate an object label of the object and a bounding box of the object in the image. The localization method can be used to generate anchor points in real world coordinates of the real 3D space of the object, a cuboid of the object, and a centroid of the cuboid. A virtual 3D map can be generated that which includes the location and pose of the real object in the real-world coordinates.

  • Patent number: 10307007
Abstract: The arrangement for dispensing a curtain using an extendable tube with mating rods and cartridges provides an expedient and convenient method for mounting, changing and removing curtains. It consists primarily of an extendable tube housing a cartridge for dispensing a curtain that is pre-assembled with attached circular balls and a guide piece. The cartridge is attached to mating rods that can be adjusted as needed to attach or remove additional cartridges. The user pulls the guide piece in a downward direction to release the curtain from the release chamber of the extendable tube. The circular balls spread along the sliding tracks of the extendable tube and the user can then spread the curtain as desired.
