  • Patent number: 11836072
Abstract: Database systems and methods are provided for identifying a change associated with an update to executable code resulting in test failure. One method involves calculating risk scores for different changes associated with the update based on change characteristics associated with the respective changes, identifying a change from among the different changes associated with the update based on the risk scores associated with the respective changes, generating a modified update to the executable code that includes the identified change and excludes remaining changes of the update from the modified update, and initiate execution of one or more tests with respect to a compiled version of the modified update to the executable code. When execution of the one or more tests against the modified update results in a test failure, the change is identified as a potential root cause of the test failure associated with the update.

  • Patent number: 11354153
Abstract: A resource utilization level and a data size may be determined for each organization within a computing pod located within an on-demand computing services organization configured to provide computing services. One of the organizations may be selected for migration away from the computing pod based on the resource utilization levels and the data sizes. The designated organization may have a respective resource utilization level that is high in relation to its respective data size.

  • Publication number: 20210406148
Abstract: System and methods are described for anomaly detection and root cause analysis in database systems, such as multi-tenant environments. In one implementation, a method comprises receiving an activity signal representative of resource utilization within a multi-tenant environment; detecting a plurality of anomalies in the activity signal; computing a priority score for each of the plurality of anomalies; correlating at least a subset of the plurality of anomalies to one or more performance metrics of the multi-tenant environment; and transmitting a remediation signal to one or more devices in the multi-tenant environment based on the correlations and the priority scores.

  • Patent number: 11093294
Abstract: A request may be received to migrate an organization from a first computing pod to a second computing pod located within an on-demand computing services organization configured to provide computing services. A migration resource utilization profile may be determined for the first computing pod. The migration resource utilization profile may identify one or more computing resources involved in transferring organizations from the first computing pod during one or more time windows. A migration time window for performing the requested migration may be selected based at least in part on the migration resource utilization profile.
