The impact indication system includes an impact sensing system including a g-force sensor, a housing engagable with the target, and a first computing device including at least a processor and a memory. The impact indication system further includes a signal output unit including a housing, a signal output device, a second computing device including a processor and a memory, the first computing device operable to send a signal to the second computing device in response to sensing the impact, and the second computing device operable to produce a signal indicative of the impact.

Abstract: A method and apparatus implementing an enhanced protocol between an I2C master and an I2C slave. In various embodiments the invention permits greater addressability space and high priority access to the slave device. The enhanced protocol is implemented by the addition of command code data being transmitted which is recognized through an interface circuit inside the slave device. The invention provides an I2C solution for accessing high priority address space with one command byte, medium priority space with two command bytes and low priority space with three command bytes.

Abstract: This invention is a U-shaped connector having horizontal flanges, the connector being used for attaching a substrate having an aperture to a battery cell. The connector is first soldered to a substrate with the horizontal flanges mating with the top of the substrate, while the U-shaped portion of the connector protrudes through the aperture in the substrate. The connector and substrate assembly can then be welded to a battery cell. In an alternate embodiment, service loops are added to the connector to give the substrate greater range of motion relative to the cell.

Abstract: A foil battery packaging containing a battery cell is described wherein the tab comprises a strong metal tab secured to the packaging, and wherein the strong metal tab is electrically connected to a weak metal tab of the battery cell. The packaging may also comprise a metal reinforcing strip secured to the strong metal tab, the weak metal tab, and the battery packaging.
