The one or more plant oils and the source of Aloe vera may each be present in an effective amount to increase natural moisturizing factors in skin when applied thereto. The method for treating the one or more dry skin conditions may include contacting the personal care composition with skin. Contacting the personal care composition with the skin may increase an amount of natural moisturizing factors in the skin and/or increase an amount of Caspase-14 in the skin.
