Abstract: A method for making an inverted digital file of digital surface map data and the fabrication of a dental restoration model mold that includes elements of digital scanning of either an impression taken of a patients teeth, a model fabricated from casting or otherwise replicating the patient restoration and adjacent teeth impression, or the manipulation of a digital scan data file of the patient restoration and adjacent sites. The digital data is manipulated by inverting the data contained in the file to precisely create the inverse image of the digital data to render a shell that exactly replicates the surface topography of the restoration site in an inverted manner. A mold fabricated from this inverted data does not require separation, disassembly or distortion to release the positive model cast from the mold.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dental kit and method for comfortably improving oral aesthetics, including one or more thin aesthetic dental arch laminates and a non-toxic tackification adhesive. The one or more thin aesthetic dental arch laminates is configured for comfortable, easy, reusable application, adhered to a person's teeth by the non-toxic tackification adhesive, which is not a bonding agent or a cement. The one or more thin aesthetic dental arch laminates can accommodate the person's teeth without tensioning the person's teeth or the one or more thin aesthetic dental arch laminates, enhancing comfort and minimizing breakage.

Abstract: A method for forming a mouth guard and apparatus for anatomically conforming the impression material to a user's mouth and teeth. Polyvinyl siloxane base putty is combined in equal parts with polyvinyl siloxane catalyst putty until a uniform amalgam is formed by kneading and mixing. The mass is then formed into a roll of about three inches in length having a thicker center and extended and tapering ends with a one-inch diameter at the center and approximately half-inch diameters at the ends. A bite bar having a lateral handle is pressed through the center of the mass to form grasping means by which the putty-mass-and-bite-bar, or mouth-guard, assembly may be easily handled. A shield (that may have prongs) on the bite bar serves to support and obstruct the passage of the putty mass. Curving the putty mass about the shield and optional prongs serves to conform the putty mass to the anatomical curvature of a user's teeth.
