An outwardly extending hook holds the holder to an inside of the paint can or paint bucket. The holder holds enough paint that covers paint brush hairs when the paint brush is placed in a holder area of the holder. Side port holes in the holder allow excess paint in the holder to flow back into the paint can or bucket.
