  • Patent number: 11295297
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a mobile wallet computing system, information relating to a usable object from a party and provisioning, by the mobile wallet computing system, the usable object to a mobile wallet associated with a user. The computer-implemented method further includes receiving, by the mobile wallet computing system, one or more rules relating to the usable object from the party, wherein the one or more rules define an activation condition for the usable object such that when the activation condition is fulfilled the usable object is active in the mobile wallet of the user; determining, by the mobile wallet computing system, whether the activation condition is fulfilled; and in response to the activation condition for the usable object being fulfilled, activating, by the mobile wallet computing system, the usable object in the mobile wallet of the user.

  • Patent number: 10929841
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes registering, by a mobile wallet computing system, a plurality of items to a master wallet held by a user, wherein the master wallet is associated with a mobile wallet on a user mobile device; registering one or more sub-wallets for the user, wherein each sub-wallet includes one or more of the items registered to the master wallet; and configuring one or more rules for each sub-wallet, wherein the one or more rules for a given sub-wallet define when the mobile wallet computing system provisions the given sub-wallet to the mobile wallet. The method also includes monitoring a context of the user; determining whether the one or more rules for each sub-wallet are fulfilled, based on the monitored context of the user; and in response to at least one rule associated with a predefined sub-wallet being fulfilled, provisioning the predefined sub-wallet to the mobile wallet.

  • Patent number: 8929444
Abstract: A wireless communication unit comprises a receiver for receiving information from a remote transmitter unit. The receiver comprises a demodulator for demodulating received data packets operably coupled to a decoder arranged to perform a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) on the demodulated received data packets and perform multi-protocol encapsulated (MPE) decoding thereon. The demodulator forwards both valid CRC corrected data packets and non-corrected CRC data packets to the decoder and the decoder is configured to place the MPE non-corrected CRC data packets into Reed Solomon (RS) code words.

  • Patent number: 8649428
Abstract: Decoding logic is arranged to receive an encoded data signal. The decoding logic comprises a convolutional decoder arranged to perform convolutional decoding on the encoded data signal, to produce a decoded data signal. The decoding logic comprises header bit prediction logic arranged to predict a value for at least one header bit within the decoded data signal, and to provide the predicted value for the at least one header bit to the convolutional decoder to be applied during convolutional decoding.

  • Publication number: 20130232044
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relates to a methodology consisting of using active account management to segment a portfolio with internal behavior score bands and a number of key performance metrics. In one potential embodiment, a server computer receives a set of data for NPSL accounts and identifies a risk for each account in the plurality of accounts. Accounts may then be grouped, and adjustments made in an ongoing basis to groups of accounts within the portfolio based on updated risk and use status.

  • Patent number: 8270343
Abstract: A wireless communication system comprises a broadcast transmitter broadcasting textual and multimedia information to a remote receiver unit. The broadcast transmitter is operably coupled to a signal manipulation function and arranged to receive and process a broadcast signal that comprises both a textual portion and multimedia information. The signal manipulation function separates the textual and multimedia information into multiple bursts of data sub-blocks, wherein substantially each sub block comprises the textual data and a sub-block of multimedia information for transmitting to the remote receiver unit. By implementing the aforementioned inventive concepts, faster access to the most important (i.e. semantic) part of the transmitted information can be obtained.
