  • Publication number: 20170223464
Abstract: An assembly of a transformer and an electrostatic sound generator is especially efficient if the resonance frequency of the diaphragm is in the frequency range in which the generator is operated, such as in the interval of 1-20 kHz. Then, a smaller transformer with a winding ratio of 5000 or less may be used for feeding the sound generator, making the assembly suitable for hearing aid purposes or in-ear products such as for pro audio use.

  • Publication number: 20170180880
Abstract: The present invention relates to a receiver assembly comprising a first receiver having a distinct longitudinal direction and a first longitudinal centre line, and a second receiver having a distinct longitudinal direction and a second longitudinal centre line, wherein the distinct longitudinal directions of the first and second receivers are arranged essentially along a distinct longitudinal direction of the receiver assembly. The receiver assembly further comprises one or more microphone units.

  • Patent number: 9668065
Abstract: An acoustical module including a receiver unit for generating audio sound, microphone units for receiving acoustical pressure signals, and acoustical pressure pick-up points. Each of the acoustical pressure pick-up points is acoustically connected to a microphone unit. The module further includes an acoustical filter for attenuating acoustical pressure signals from a first acoustical pressure pick-up point relative to a second acoustical pressure pick-up point. The invention further relates to a hearing device comprising an acoustical module.

  • Publication number: 20170118553
Abstract: The present invention relates to an acoustical assembly extending in the x, y, and z directions, the acoustical assembly comprising first and second receiver units being spatially shifted relative to each other in the x direction thereby creating regions with free and available space, and one or more microphone units being positioned in the regions with free and available space. The present invention further relates to a hearing device comprising such an acoustical assembly.

  • Publication number: 20170085996
Abstract: The present invention relates to an acoustical module comprising a receiver unit for generating audio sound, a plurality of microphone units for receiving acoustical pressure signals, a plurality of acoustical pressure pick-up points, each of said acoustical pressure pick-up points being acoustically connected to a microphone unit, and an acoustical filter for attenuating acoustical pressure signals from a first acoustical pressure pick-up point relative to a second acoustical pressure pick-up point. The invention further relates to a hearing device comprising an acoustical module.

  • Patent number: 9516437
Abstract: A hearing aid or a transducer for use in a hearing aid, having a housing with an opening from an inner chamber thereof to surroundings thereof. A moisture transporting element is positioned in the opening. The moisture transporting element may be capillary channels or a thread made of fibers which may fan out at the outer side in order to increase evaporation. The chamber may be hydrophobic and surroundings of the opening be hydrophilic to encourage humidity to travel toward the humidity transporting element to be removed from the chamber.
