  • Patent number: 6871679
Abstract: A bag with a flexible wall which delimits a closed chamber of the bag for a store of a substance, for example a liquid, gaseous, pasty or pulverulent substance, for example a bag with a wall made from single-layer or multilayer (plastic) sheet material. A female element with a body through which a bore extends is attached to the inner side of the wall, which bore extends from an insertion opening for a male element, which is covered in a sealed manner by the wall of the bag, in the vicinity of the wall of the bag, to an opening in the chamber of the bag.

  • Publication number: 20040265420
Abstract: A mould and method for the injection-moulding of an assembly for creating a closable fluid connection, and an assembly. The assembly comprises a female element (20) and a stopper (30) which is used to close off a bore (27) in the female element (20). The mould comprises a core with a core (2) with a core body (3) and a head (4). Furthermore, the mould comprises a mould ring which is composed of a plurality of mould parts (10, 11) are designed in such a manner that the mould cavity for the stopper (30), is located at a distance from the mould cavity for the female element (20). The mould parts (10, 11) of the mould ring which lie around the core (2) together delimit an annular sealing surface (15), by means of which the mould ring, in a zone between the mould cavity for the stopper (30) and the mould cavity for the female element (20), bears in a sealing manner against the core (2) during the injection moulding, so that the mould cavities are completely separated from one another.

  • Publication number: 20040256410
Abstract: A plastic spout (150,170) which is adapted to be sealed between two foil walls of a pouch. The spout has a spout body, which forms a passage (153) for delivering a medium from the pouch and/or feeding a medium to the pouch. In a bottom part thereof, the spout, on opposite sides, forms a sealing zone for a sealed connection to an adjoining foil wall. The sealing zones of the spout body are formed by sealing walls (158,159) which project downward from the spout body, each having a curvature over their entire length, such that each sealing wall is outwardly convex over its entire length with respect to an imaginary plane passing through the outermost ends, which adjoin one another, of the sealing walls. The sealing walls can preferably move flexibly transversely with respect to their plane and, on their inner side, are unsupported or are supported by one or more flexible supporting parts of the spout body.

  • Patent number: 6644519
Abstract: A container having a body, a male element, a female element and a plug. The female element comprises a body having an axial bore which extends through the body from an insertion opening outside the container body, to a seat inside the container body. The plug is positioned in the seat of the axial bore to close off the bore. The male element has a closure means and a tubular part which fits into the axial bore. The tubular part has a head and is designed to interact with the plug in order to press the plug off the seat. A passage extends through the tubular part of the male element to the closure means. The container body and the male element are provided with interacting coupling means which provides resistance to the male element being pulled outwards out of the bore.

  • Patent number: 6126045
Abstract: A connector assembly for a fluid connection, comprising a female part and a male part to be connected to this. The female part has an axial bore and there is a plug to close off the bore. The plug and the male part are provided with cooperating connection devices, which connect the plug with the male part when the male part is inserted into the bore and which maintain this connection when the male part is inserted further into the bore. The plug is provided with at least one hooking part which is elastically movable in a radial direction and has an accompanying hooking surface, which rests against a shoulder and keeps the plug in the bore until the plug and the male part are connected to each other while the male part is inserted into the bore.

  • Patent number: 5819986
Abstract: A dispenser for liquid, gel, granular or powdered media, comprising an outer container of rigid material in which a suction pump is operated by a trigger mechanism. A pump outlet is connected via a flexible tube to a spray nozzle, and via a suction tube to a connector tube. A refill packing is provided within the outer container and includes an integrally manufactured connector that can be pressed onto the connector tube. The connector tube opens the connector upon insertion thereinto. A special plug, including guide arms, ensures that the connector opens upon insertion of the connector tube, and closes again upon withdrawal of the connector tube from the connector. The connector/connector tube assembly provides leak-free connection of the refill packing within the outer container.
