  • Patent number: 7707281
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a device with built-in redundancy for input/output management, notably a data routing system. The device includes first management means and second management means connected to each other via two interfaces, one a network and the other a standby line, said means mutually exchanging polling messages via these two interfaces, said first means being considered to be defective by said second means when they no longer sends messages during a given time interval on at least one of said two interfaces, characterized in that it includes at least one algorithm to reset said first and second means, the defective means being deactivated and the other means activated during the reset after detection of a failure. The device is applicable to the handling of air traffic data and, more generally, to all digital data input/output management systems necessitating a high level of operational reliability without an excessive cost premium.

  • Patent number: 7050443
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a network router characterized in that it includes at least one generic router able to execute routings between inputs (I1, I2, I3, . . . ) and outputs (O1, O2, O3, . . . ), a configuration file including the parameters of a given set of routings between said inputs and outputs, and a routing table, a subset of routings (R1, R2, . . . ) being loaded from said configuration file into said routing table by said generic router to enable this router to execute the routings between said inputs and outputs according to the configuration defined in said routing table. The invention is notably applicable to the processing air traffic management data.

  • Patent number: 6766378
Abstract: A data router communicating with systems via serial links and able to manage a multitude of different communication protocols, and including at least a generic routing program, a first-level interface program common to all the systems with which the router communicates, and a second-level interface program common to all the serial links, the generic routing program dialoguing with the first-level API, which in turn dialogues with the second-level API. The data router is notably applicable to the handling of air traffic management data.
