  • Patent number: 10395801
Abstract: A mechanical assembly of a multi-strand cable including a plurality of strands and a substrate, the plurality of strands being aligned at the substrate in a first direction and the substrate having a convex edge in a plane perpendicular to the first direction. The plurality of strands is assembled on the substrate by swaging the strands around the convex edge, leading to the deformation of a portion of the strands around said convex edge. The substrate includes an opening in a plane substantially parallel to the first direction, the edge of which forms at least one portion of the convex edge. The swaging operation is carried out on the portion of the strands positioned between the edges of the opening such that a portion of the plurality of punched strands passes through the opening and projects around the convex edge onto the top and bottom sides thereof.

  • Patent number: 9420143
Abstract: The method for water-marking digital books with parameters includes developing, for each parameter, a new typeface on the basis of a pre-existing typeface, by creating at least one new code/glyph pair. The method includes developing a new coded text on the basis of the pre-existing coded text by replacing, in the pre-existing coded text, at least one code or group of codes from the pre-existing typeface. The method further includes allowing display of a character or a combination of characters from the digital book by the code or the group of codes from the new typeface allowing display of the graphically identical character or combination of characters on any screen. The code/group of codes from the new typeface has/have at least the code from the new code/glyph pair. The method also includes providing the new coded text and the new typeface as a water-marked digital book.

  • Patent number: 8875953
Abstract: Pump operable manually or by a utensil held by a user, having an elastically deformable chamber, the inside of which contains a liquid or viscous product, and the outside of which is brought into contact with air at a slit made in this chamber and with a replacement fluid at an opening made on the chamber. The chamber is suited to deforming, by pressing of a user, to create a higher pressure in the product compared to the outside, and to open the slit, allowing a volume of product to escape from it. The chamber is suited to making its deformation elastically disappear, upon cessation of the pressing, to create a lower pressure in the product, in the presence of a flow of replacement fluid through the opening towards the inside, and to close the slit, where the chamber wall is planar in the vicinity of the slit.

  • Publication number: 20100276456
Abstract: Pump operable manually or by a utensil held in one hand by a user, characterised in that it comprises an elastically deformable chamber (10), the inside of which is suited to containing a liquid or viscous product (8) and the outside of which is intended to be brought into contact with air at a slit (7) made in this chamber (10) and brought into contact with a replacement fluid at an opening (6) made on said chamber, in that the chamber is suited to deforming elastically, by a pressing of a user, to create a higher pressure in the product (8) compared to the outside, and to open the slit (7), allowing a useful volume of product (8) to escape from it, in that the chamber (10) is suited to making its deformation elastically disappear, following the cessation of the pressing of the user, to create a lower pressure in the product (8), in the presence of a flow of replacement fluid through the opening (6) towards the inside, and to close the slit (7), and in that the wall of the chamber (10) is essentially planar

  • Publication number: 20060185530
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for the distribution of a liquid or viscous product in order for it to be retrieved with a tool or by the hand of a user, comprising a reservoir (1) for containing this product and emptying in a distribution zone (2, 7) for the retrieval of this product, characterized in that the distribution zone (2, 7) comprises openings for preventing the product from exfiltrating in the absence of an action by the user, and in that the reservoir (1) is placed under an excess pressure that is determined as a condition of the use at a value less than the pressure that causes the seeping of the product when the device is at rest, which pressure is, moreover, sufficient to bring about the exfiltration of the product onto the distribution zone (2, 7) when the user exerts an action on this distribution zone (2, 7).
