  • Patent number: 10634577
Abstract: A leak detection module for checking the seal-tightness of an object to be tested by tracer gas is provided, including a leak detector and a probe configured to be manipulated by a user; and a vision device including a processing and display unit configured to communicate with the leak detector, a securing means configured to secure the vision device on a head of the user, and a viewing surface fixed to the securing means and configured to be placed in a field of view of the user, the processing and display unit being further configured to display, on the viewing surface, information relating to detection of leaks including at least one signal representative of a concentration of tracer gas measured by the leak detector. A method for checking the seal-tightness of an object to be tested by tracer gas is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10578512
Abstract: A leak detector for detection of leaks from an object to be tested by detection of a tracer gas, the leak detector including: an inlet of gases; a pumping device; a pumping line connecting the inlet of the gases to the pumping device; a device for detection of tracer gas fitted to the pumping line, as bypass of the pumping device, the device for detection of tracer gas including a probe configured to ionize the gas molecules and to measure current of the ionized gas molecules, and a separating membrane arranged upstream of the probe. The separating membrane is a monoatomic layer of graphene deposited on a gas-permeable substrate of the device for detection of tracer gas including selection orifices, the greatest dimension of which is less than 5 angstroms, made in the monoatomic layer of graphene.

  • Patent number: 8803104
Abstract: An ionization cell for a mass spectrometer (2) includes: an ionization housing (10) having a first and a second electron input groove (11, 26) and one side (16) of which has an output groove (15) for passing ionized particles (14a, 14b, 14c) therethrough, a first working filament (13) placed opposite the first electron input groove (11) and intended to be supplied to produce an electron beam (12), and a second backup filament (22) placed opposite the second electron input groove (26) and intended to be supplied in the event the first working filament (13) fails so as to produce the electron beam, the input groove (26) being placed outside a front region (F) located opposite the first input groove (11). The invention also relates to a leak detector with a mass spectrometer, which includes such an above-described ionization cell.
