Abstract: A plug connector includes a housing, a locking element and a verification element. The housing has a receiving chamber, a connection piece and a duct through which fluid can flow. The locking element is movable between an open position and a fastening position, a plug can be inserted in the receiving chamber in the open position of the locking element, and a plug inserted in the receiving chamber can be fastened within the receiving chamber via the locking element in the fastening position of the locking element. In an open position of the locking element, the verification element is at least partially covered by the locking element, and in a fastening position of the locking element, the verification element can be read.

Abstract: An automobile vehicle steering system includes a steering column, a steering wheel and a steering rack for the steered wheels of the automobile vehicle. The steering column has an upper column part connected to the steering wheel and an intermediate column part connected to the steering rack for the steered wheels of the automobile vehicle. The intermediate column part consists of two connections, namely a mechanical connection and an electrical connection. The mechanical connection and the electrical connection are in parallel, so that the two connections are both connected to the end of the upper column part and to the steering rack and can function simultaneously under normal driving conditions. In the event of an electrical power failure the mechanical connection remains and is used to steer the automobile vehicle.

Abstract: A system for modulatable absorption of energy from an automobile vehicle steering column comprises a steering shaft mounted in a body-tube connected to a support assembly fixed to the chassis of the vehicle. The system for modulatable absorption of energy comprises a required number of windings with a particular section which are connected to a retaining pin device and to an anchor pin device. The anchor pin device comprises a holding rod which is moved along its axis by an electric actuator to select the number of windings concerned in the event of an impact.

Abstract: In a device for holding a first member in position relative to a second member, the first member and the second member are connected by a clamping system having a clamping axle passing through the members. A relatively soft plastics material adhesion shoe is fixed to the second member. The clamping axle passes through the adhesion shoe. A metal rack having teeth is disposed on a base which is mounted on the clamping axle. When the clamping system is immobilized in a locked position, the teeth of the rack penetrate the relatively soft plastics material of the adhesion shoe in order to guarantee that the first member is held in position relative to the second member.
