  • Patent number: 8125440
Abstract: A method of entering combinatorial data on a data entry device (DED) including sensitive means which can be activated by an intermediary of at least one actuator allowing, according to a combination of sensitive means activated, an ad hoc computer program to designate and activate an object contained in a active correspondence table in memory, where the sensitive means are made up by at least three main detection zones Zi each made up of Fi (Fi=1, 2, 3 . . . ) distinct sensitive zones, comprising at least one step of designating/selecting an object from an active table; and a subsequent step of validation and production of the designated object, wherein for at least a first part of objects from the active table, the step of designation/selection of a single object can be achieved by designation of the object in successive combinatorial mode or by designation of the object in simultaneous combinatorial mode.

  • Publication number: 20110209087
Abstract: The present invention relates to a progressive multilevel interactively guided method and device for inputting to an apparatus any object among a set of up to N*N objects having each a symbolic representation, the small device comprising N sensible and N visual zones in correspondence one by one and having same form and relative positions, the method comprising the steps of showing N objects in each visual zone, a first actuation of the sensible zone associated with the visual zone showing the object to be selected, the distribution of the N shown objects in each N visual zones, a second actuation of the sensible zone associated with the visual zone showing the object to be selected, and an inputting of the selected object to the apparatus when the sensible zone is released.

  • Publication number: 20110197162
Abstract: A method including: obtaining a first grid having a first plurality of key zones; obtaining a selection of a second grid corresponding to a first web site and having a second plurality of key zones; assigning a first key zone in the first plurality of key zones to the second grid; and populating the first key zone in the first plurality of key zones with an icon corresponding to the first web site, where the second grid is populated with data associated with the first web site and displayed within a user interface (UI) in response to a selection of the first key zone in the first plurality of key zones.

  • Publication number: 20110196752
Abstract: A method, including: displaying, within a user interface (UI), a first grid having a first plurality of key zones corresponding to a first plurality of objects; identifying a selection of a first key zone in the first plurality of key zones corresponding to an object of the first plurality of objects; displaying, in response to the selection of the first key zone, a second grid having a second plurality of key zones corresponding to a second plurality of objects, where the object of the first plurality of objects is associated with the second grid; receiving a first selection of a second key zone in the second plurality of key zones; and displaying, in response to the first selection of the second key zone, a first preview of a first web page with the second grid, where the first web page corresponds to an object in the second plurality of objects.

  • Patent number: 5087910
Abstract: The electronic keyboard for one-hand operation, more particularly for generating alphanumeric and analog characters and/or processing instructions, comprises a plurality of keys (2, 4) and an electronic circuit connected electrically to said keys in order to interpret the state of the keys (2, 4) and deliver a signal indicative thereof, said electronic circuit also being connected to a display (6) and to external connection. It comprises at least two keys (2) associated with the fingers of a hand other than the thumb and a key (4) associated with the thumb, each key (2) associated with a finger of the hand other than the thumb being adapted to assume three different states in response to said finger and the thumb key (4) can assume five different states in response to the thumb (see FIG. 1).
