  • Patent number: 9504449
Abstract: The disclosure includes a method of acquiring high-resolution ultrasound images using an array of transducers using successive transmission matrices.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 3, 2012
Date of Patent: November 29, 2016
    Assignee: SUPER SONIC IMAGINE
Inventors: Jean-Marie Nicolas, Laurent Kopp, Frédéric Mosca, Claude Cohen-Bacrie, Christophe Fraschini
  • Patent number: 8654611
Abstract: A method for detecting series of substantially periodic bursts of substantially sinusoidal signals, in particular, but not exclusively, series of bursts of signals transmitted recurrently (by pingers for example), this method making it possible to ensure the quick and reliable detection of such signals in the presence of significant interference noise. This method includes slightly delayed processing of received signals, spectral analysis and time integration, and presentation of the results in the form of a two-dimensional image of the successive recurrences of the bursts according to time slots of the received signals.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 2, 2010
Date of Patent: February 18, 2014
    Assignee: IXWaves SARL
    Inventors: Laurent Kopp, Michel Eyries

  • Patent number: 8077548
Abstract: The sounder according to the invention comprises two transmit-receive antennas (1, 10) whose respective axes are off-target toward the front, in the direction of movement of the platform, these axes being symmetrical relative to a straight line (3) passing through their intersection and parallel to the axis of travel of the platform, the transmit frequency of the first antenna, equal to the receive frequency of the second being different from the transmit frequency of the second, the latter frequency being equal to the receive frequency of the first.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: December 13, 2011

  • Patent number: 6940368
Abstract: The invention relates to a surface acoustic wave filter (or SAW filter) comprising a symmetrical network with differential inputs/outputs, in particular for mobile telecommunication systems. A network of the ladder or balanced bridge type comprises at least one structure of the surface acoustic wave resonator type, that comprises at least two transducers in the same acoustic channel, two of said transducers being substantially identical, connected to two symmetrical branches of the network and arranged in such a way that the acoustic waves generated by the two transducers are in phase. Advantageously, arrays of reflectors are placed on either side of the structure. Apart from saving space, this structure makes it possible in particular to simplify the production of the filter and to achieve better control in balancing the branches.
