  • Publication number: 20230221445
Abstract: A process and system for detection and telemetry using electromagnetic radiation pulses allows characterization of a radial velocity distribution as a function of a separation distance within an exploration zone. An impulse response from the system is used for decomposing a measurement signal which is collected for each acquisition sequence performed for a useful measurement. The result of the decomposition includes an estimate of the radial velocity distribution as a function of the separation distance.

  • Patent number: 8351738
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of estimating at least one deformation of the wave front of an observation system or of an object observed by said observation system, characterized in that: at least one diversity image is acquired, in the vicinity of the focal plane of the observation system, in at least one diversity plane, the diversity image comprising a known diversity deformation; and in that in each diversity plane, an image model is determined based on at least one decomposition of the physical pupil of the system into a plurality of subpupils; a decomposition over each subpupil of the sought-after deformation in the form of at least one known deformation weighted by coefficients to be determined; a determination of the transfer function of the system by autocorrelation of its pupil; the linearization of each of the terms of the autocorrelation as a function of the coefficients of the sought-after deformation, the linearization being performed in the vicinity of the known diversity deformation; the o

  • Patent number: 7852888
Abstract: A laser source is disclosed with coherent recombination of N spatial monomode laser beams having N phase shifters controlled by a phase-lock device (3). The phase-lock device has an optical device (30) capable of taking at least a portion of each of the N beams. The optical device has an optical element (32) capable of applying a phase deformation, and at least one matrix (M1) of detectors capable of detecting a first image (im) of a wave surface corresponding to the N beams. The matrix (M1) of detectors also detects a second image (imd) deformed by the optical element (32). Processing means (31) are provided for processing the first and second images. The processing means are configured so as to measure the phase pistons between on the sub-pupils (spj) corresponding to the N beams and to apply phase corrections c(?) to each of the N beams, by means of said N phase shifters so as to minimize the phase pistons.
