  • Publication number: 20190300140
Abstract: Attempts are increasingly being made to optimize space in the flight decks of aircraft to reduce the overall volume thereof with a view to increasing that of the profit-making zones such as the cabin. To this end, the present disclosure relates to a nose section of an aircraft including a cockpit separated from a cabin by a bulkhead. The bulkhead includes a recess projecting from the surface of the bulkhead on the cabin side, laterally offering hollow zones closed by at least one closure wall to create at least one storage compartment.
