Abstract: An inclined elevator and a method for manufacturing thereof are presented. The elevator comprises a support structure defining an inclined channel with landing entrances. The elevator comprises a longitudinal stator beam attached to the inclined channel to define an inclined movement path. The elevator comprises a car comprising a battery and a drive unit and configured to be moved between the landing entrances. The elevator also comprises a mover coupled to the car. The mover comprises a winding and is arranged to face at least on side face to generate a travelling magnetic field along the side face(s) for moving the mover.
