    Abstract: A first group of electronic modules has a first orientation, and a second group of electronic modules has a second orientation different from the first orientation. The first group and second group of electronic modules are connected through a midplane board. Bridge modules are electrically connected to the first and second groups of electronic modules to electrically connect devices of at least some of the first and second groups of electronic modules, where the bridge modules are different from the electronic modules in each of the first and second groups.
