Abstract: There is provided a structure for extending over a pool. The structure includes a first section secured to a second section at at least two locations. Each of the first section and the second section may include two longitudinal members joined by a set of transversally-disposed lateral members. Furthermore, the first section and the second section further includes a set of transparent members disposed in a longitudinal direction overtop the set of transversally-disposed lateral members. Furthermore, the set of transparent members form a continuous platform secured by a set of stops disposed at each end of the two longitudinal members. The first and second section may be secured using a set of bolts, pins, screws, or combinations thereof.
