    Abstract: An apparatus includes an event memory and processing logic. The event memory is configured to store events corresponding to a plurality of pixels, the events are indicative of changes in luminance levels detected by the pixels. The processing logic is configured to define a mapping that maps events to respective locations in the event memory, to receive a given event generated by a given pixel among the plurality of pixels, to map the given event to multiple locations in the event memory using the mapping, and store event data indicative of the given event in the multiple locations, and, in reading the given event, to map the given event to the multiple locations in the event memory using the mapping, and to verify that the given event is valid based on the event data stored in the multiple locations.
