  • Patent number: 9978542
Abstract: Circuit breaker lockout devices are disclosed that effectively lock one or more circuit breakers in a circuit breaker panel in a safe or open circuit position. Embodiments of the circuit breaker lockout devices are robust, utilize few loose parts, and are easily installed. The devices are also short in profile, thereby allowing them to be installed in a circuit breaker panel having minimal clearance between the circuit breakers and a closed panel door cover.

  • Publication number: 20180000217
Abstract: The automatic hair braiding device disclosed herein, when laid against an individual's head over a sectioned portion of hair, can further section and segregate the hair into smaller sections of a specific width automatically. The braiding device will be able to combine additional hair, synthetic or human, that is already pre-fed into the machine to the individual's sectioned hair and braid the individual's hair with integrated hair to the desired length simultaneously. The device will possess a safety feature that can sense hair tension while segregating and braiding hair to minimize hair breakage and notify the user if any added hair is not properly loaded or secured within the device before braiding begins. The device will have the ability to automatically shut off if hair should become tangled during any phase of the braiding process. The device will have the ability to program hair sectioning and braid size through computer software capability and mobile phone Bluetooth application.

  • Publication number: 20170353503
Abstract: A method and devices for handling crossed-invite situations in set-up of IP-based sessions. A local device receives an incoming session invite after sending an outgoing session invite before the outgoing session invite has been accepted. It then determines that the incoming session invite was sent by the remote device to which the outgoing session invite is also addressed. The method includes determining a remote device priority value from identifying information contained in the incoming session invite, comparing the remote device priority value with a local device priority value to determine whether the remote device or the local device is higher priority and, if the remote device is higher priority, canceling the outgoing session invite and displaying an incoming call answer screen for the incoming session invite, and if the local device is higher priority, waiting for cancelation of the incoming session invite and acceptance of the outgoing session invite.

  • Patent number: 9760430
Abstract: A solid-state drive (SSD) may not include a dynamic random access memory (DRAM) but rather may utilize a host memory buffer of system random access memory (RAM). During a power failure data on dirty cache lines may be lost. A power protection caching policy may be implemented where an SSD controller is capable of accepting a flush cache signal, which may be a signal to a redefined pin of the SSD or a command, from a controller of the information handling system. The controller may utilize a slope detect mechanism and/or a power good detect mechanism to detect a power failure and if a power failure is detected to issue a flush cache signal the SSD controller to cause a flush of all dirty cache lines from the host memory buffer before the power failure results in inoperability of circuitry associated with the dirty cache lines.

  • Publication number: 20170246419
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to devices, systems, and methods for mixing and/or blending two or more fluids, such as gases, to produce suitable mixed or blended fluids, such as a breathable gas. For example, the system may control and/or regulate flow from of first fluid from a first source and/or flow of a second fluid from a second source. The system may include a controller that may operate or direct operation of one or more valves to control the flow of the first and second fluids, thereby producing a blended or mixed fluid that has selected concentrations or proportions (or ratios) of the first and second fluids.

  • Patent number: 9707371
Abstract: A ventilator includes a compressor, a storage vessel, a valve assembly communicating with the compressor, the storage vessel, and an inhalation line. A controller directs the valve assembly between a storage configuration where ventilation gas is delivered from the compressor into the storage vessel, and a delivery configuration where ventilation gas is delivered from the storage vessel to the inhalation line. The controller is coupled to a pressure sensor for detecting a first pressure within the storage vessel when the valve assembly is directed to the delivery configuration, and detecting subsequent pressure while ventilation gas is delivered from the storage vessel to the inhalation line, the controller determining the volume of ventilation gas delivered to the patient based at least in part on the difference between the first pressure and the subsequent pressure.
