  • Publication number: 20070208609
Abstract: A method, system and program product for providing supply and demand planning including backwards order item allocation is disclosed. In one embodiment, the invention includes a method for supply and demand planning in an enterprise including: identifying an order item occurring at a prospective period that exceeds an enterprise build plan for the prospective period; and allocating at least a portion of the order item back to a supplier forecast for at least one period prior to the prospective period.

  • Publication number: 20050274481
Abstract: A flexible die case system for forming a variety of face plates used in telecommunications equipment without having to replace the mold base is provided. The system includes a main insert for forming a first portion of the face plate and a sub-insert for forming a second portion of the face plate. The second portion includes the minor variations that might be required to accommodate minor variations in face plate requirements. For example, the second portion can be used to change the number, size and location of apertures used for light emitting diodes, as well as the number, size and location of ports used to make connections to the electronics carried by or associated with the face plate.

  • Patent number: 5660597
Abstract: A portable, compact, self-contained child pacifying device is disclosed for use with infant support structures. The device may be attached to such infant support structures through attachment means allowing ready attachment and removal of the pacifying device. The attachment means may include projecting tabs or a pivotable retaining arm located proximate a vibration dampening means. A biasing means retains the attachment means and the pacifying device in position. The device comprises an integral outer case structure within which a battery powered vibratory source is mounted to produce a vibrating motion. The outer case structure attaches to the child carrier through a mounting arrangement fixedly attached to the exterior of the case structure and attachable to the infant support structure.

  • Patent number: 4075693
Abstract: A configuration and control unit (CACU) is described for a multi-system containing processors, which may be of different types, with heterogeneous channels and local and remote devices, including channel crossbar switches, I/O channel switches, I/O control units and I/O units. The CACU is the focal point in the multi-system for configuration, maintenance and special control over the multi-system.The CACU contains a PWL adapter to control local devices, and a time multiplexed (TM) adapter to control remote devices. Time multiplexed lines (TML's) connect the TM adapter to remote modem adapters (RM's) located with remote devices. Each RM includes a configuration register, control register and maintenance register. These registers are connected between a modem in the RM and its associated device.

  • Patent number: 4014005
Abstract: A configuration and control unit (CACU) is described for a heterogeneous multi-system containing processors which may be of different types, channels, one or more channel crossbar switches which may be of different sizes, various I/O channel switches, I/O control units and I/O devices. The CACU is the focal point in the multi-system for configuration control over all of these system heterogeneous components. The CACU enables the configuration of any switchable part of the entire multi-system to be established and changed at any time due to new processing requirements or failure of part or all of the system. The CACU contains a parallel wire line (PWL) adapter for providing DC switching control over components connected through channel crossbar switches and/or channel I/O switches. The CACU also has a time multiplexed (TM) adapter connected via serial time multiplexed lines (TML's) to remote modem adapters (RM's) with devices controlled by or switched by the CACU.
