The end effector is positioned relative to an expected reference location for a reference point on the fuselage assembly using data from a first metrology system. After positioning the end effector relative to the expected reference location, an actual reference location for the reference point on the fuselage assembly is identified using data from a second metrology system. The end effector is positioned at an operation location based on the actual reference location identified.

Abstract: A lighting control system includes control devices each configured to be coupled with one or more lighting devices. Each of the control devices includes sensor(s) configured to measure a characteristic of an environment, and hardware circuitry configured to connect with a network for one or more of remotely controlling operation of the one or more lighting devices, communicating the characteristic that is sensed, or monitoring information received through the network. The hardware circuitry of the control devices are configured to operate between different operational modes to perform different functions to control the one or more lighting devices based on the characteristic that is measured by the one or more sensors, based on the information received via the network, or based on both the characteristic that is measured and the information received via the network. The system also includes switching hardware configured to change the operational mode of the control devices.

The resource prioritization system and method may receive a request from a user device. The resource prioritization system and method can process the request to identify one or more resources having one or more characteristics corresponding to the request content and associated with resource locations near the user location. A communication channel can then be established between the user device and a device associated with an identified resource, such that the user can submit queries to the resource and receive query responses.

Abstract: Predicting capacity of shared virtual machine (VM) resources by generating estimated remaining capacities (ERCs) for computing clusters within a virtualization system rather than continuously monitoring actual remaining capacities (ARCs). Generating ERCs for a virtualization system's computing cluster(s) by using physical resource allocation flux data and/or VM type exchange probabilities provides benefits over continuously monitoring ARCs. The physical resource allocation flux data may correspond to commissioning and decommissioning VMs into the cluster and may be obtained during a blind period when current ARCs are unknown. For example, the physical resource allocation flux may be an indication of how many instances of each VM type are commissioned and/or decommissioned from the cluster over a time interval of interest.
