Publication number: 20150316595Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a light emitting diode (LED) meter board for a transfer switch configured to indicate the power currently being output by the transfer switch to any engaged circuits. In one particular embodiment, the LED meter board indicates a percentage of available power provided to the circuits by a generator or other alternative power source. As more power is output to the circuits, the LED meter board drives the activation of one or more LEDs. Further, the LEDs of the meter board may indicate the power currently being output by the transfer switch to any engaged circuits by blinking at various rates. The blinking rate of the LEDs may increase until one or more of the LEDs may remain solidly lit, or otherwise activated, indicating the percentage of power provided by the generator has reached a particular threshold value.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 1, 2015Publication date: November 5, 2015Applicant: Milbank Manufacturing Co.Inventors: Paul Creekmore, Jason David Bridges, Bowe Neuenschwander, John Siglock, David Lawrence Oldroyd

Publication number: 20150316947Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, devices, methods, and the like, for a transfer switch of a power system incorporating a self-powered electronic meter that provides a learn function to determine the maximum amount of power an attached generator can provide, and adjust a power meter display associated with the switch accordingly so that the indicator of the display may be used for any size generator and display the full range of the generator. The learning function is activated and a user turn on devices and loads in the load center until the generator stalls. A microcontroller records the max generator power that was measured before the generator stalled and save it to non-volatile memory as the new 100% setting for that particular generator connected to the transfer switch.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 1, 2015Publication date: November 5, 2015Applicant: Milbank Manufacturing Co.Inventors: Paul Creekmore, Jason David Bridges, Bowe Neuenschwander, David Lawrence Oldroyd

Patent number: 8107722Abstract: A system for performing a three dimensional stereo measurement that uses a sensor for obtaining a sensor image of a scene, and a database for providing first and second reference images of the scene that are a stereo pair of images. At least one processing system is responsive to an output of the sensor and in communication with the database. The processing system registers the sensor image with the first reference image, and also selects a point of interest from one of the sensor image and the first reference image. The processing system performs a stereo point measurement from the selected point of interest and the first reference image to determine a point in the second reference image that represents a stereo mate of the selected point in the first reference image.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2010Date of Patent: January 31, 2012Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventor: Lawrence A. Patent number: 7873240Abstract: A method for geographically registering a perspective image of a location assigns elevation values to elements or pixels of a two dimensional array of image elements or pixels of the location. The elevation value for each image pixel is obtained using a corresponding database stored reference digital elevation model, or a three dimensional surface model of the location. The reference elevation model or surface model is composed of rows and columns of elevation values corresponding to two dimensions of location values at a sensed location shown in the image, or is composed of a three dimensional surface or volume model of the location, such as a computer-aided design model or any other means of describing the three dimensional characteristics of the sensed location.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2005Date of Patent: January 18, 2011Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventor: Lawrence A. Patent number: 7773799Abstract: A method for performing automatic stereo measure of a selected point in a scene. A sensor image is initially obtained from a sensor providing an image of a scene. First and second reference images of the scene that are a stereo pair of images are also provided. The sensor image is registered with the first reference image and a point of interest is selected from one of the sensor or first reference images. A stereo point measurement using the selected point and the two reference images is performed to determine a point in the second reference image that represents a stereo mate of the selected point in the first reference image. An analysis of a three dimensional grid volume centered about the selected point in the first reference image is then performed. The analysis uses both reference images, the selected point and its stereo mate to determine the three dimensional coordinates of the point in the grid that best matches the location of the stereo mate point in the second reference image.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2007Date of Patent: August 10, 2010Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventor: Lawrence A. Patent number: 7580591Abstract: A method of generating a synthetic perspective image that matches the viewing perspective and internal geometry of a known image sensor, for example, a forward-looking infrared sensor or a synthetic aperture radar sensor, without using specialized hardware and without the computational difficulty inherent in standard image generating means is provided. The synthetic perspective image is generated in a forward mapping process, which solves the problems of complete mapping of the perspective image and of hidden surfaces, in a manner that provides sufficient speed and adequate quality or accuracy for standard reference images to be used in registering with the sensor images.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2005Date of Patent: August 25, 2009Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventor: Lawrence A. Patent number: 6738532Abstract: A method of registering images is provided which includes capturing a first original image of a scene under surveillance, capturing a second original image of the scene under surveillance, coarsely matching the first original image to the second original image to give approximate angle and offset parameters of the first original image to the second original image, and finely matching the first original image to the second original image based on the approximate angle and offset parameters of the coarsely matching step. The coarsely matching step involves applying a plurality of rotations to a reduced version of the first original image to form a rotated and reduced first original image and performing a correlation match between the rotated and reduced first original image and a reduced version of the second original image.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2000Date of Patent: May 18, 2004Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventor: Lawrence A.
