  • Publication number: 20230177247
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of assessing roughness in metallic lines of an integrated circuit (IC) is provided. The computer-implemented method includes developing a library of roughness characterizations for metal lines of varying characteristics and dimensions. The computer-implemented method further includes fabricating a testable IC and identifying, in the testable IC, a location of interest (LoI) at which roughness of a metal line within the LoI could impact IC performance. Also, the computer-implemented method includes developing, from the library, a roughness model using the roughness characterizations for those metal lines having characteristics and dimensions corresponding to those of the metal line within the LoI and refining the library and the roughness model based on a comparison of the roughness model and an actual roughness of the metal line within the LoI to obtain a final roughness model.

  • Patent number: 11669557
Abstract: System and computer-implemented method of analyzing tags associated with a sequence of images presented to a user to present a current interest of the user is disclosed. An image from among a plurality of images is presented on an electronic display. The image is associated with a set of tags. An input is received indicating a user's preference for the image. A plurality of tags is processed based on the preference and the set of tags to determine a next set of tags from the plurality of tags. A next image is determined from the plurality of images based on the next set of tags. The next image represents a physical object, different from a physical object represented by the previous image. A sequence of images is generated by repeating the above process with the next image in place of the previous image for present a user's current interest.

  • Patent number: 11669009
Abstract: A method for fabricating patterns on a flexible substrate in a roll-to-roll configuration. Drops of a monomer diluted in a solvent are dispensed on a substrate, where the drops spontaneously spread and merge with one another to form a liquid resist formulation. The solvent is evaporated (e.g., blanket evaporation) from the liquid resist formulation followed by selective multi-component resist film evaporation resulting in a non-uniform and substantially continuous film on the substrate. The gap between the film on the substrate and a template is closed such that the film fills the features of the template. After cross-linking the film to polymerize the film, the template is separated from the substrate thereby leaving the polymerized film on the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11669639
Abstract: A system for configuring an information handling system based on a multi-user state change. An intelligent sensor hub communicates with sensors to detect the number of persons in a field of view of the information handling system. When the intelligent sensor hub determines there is a change in the number of persons, the information is sent out-of-band to an embedded controller (EC) independent of a host operating system. The EC makes a change to the configuration of the information handling system if needed.

  • Patent number: 11667972
Abstract: Next Generation DNA sequencing promises to revolutionize clinical medicine and basic research. However, while this technology has the capacity to generate hundreds of billions of nucleotides of DNA sequence in a single experiment, the error rate of approximately 1% results in hundreds of millions of sequencing mistakes. These scattered errors can be tolerated in some applications but become extremely problematic when “deep sequencing” genetically heterogeneous mixtures, such as tumors or mixed microbial populations. To overcome limitations in sequencing accuracy, a method Duplex Consensus Sequencing (DCS) is provided. This approach greatly reduces errors by independently tagging and sequencing each of the two strands of a DNA duplex. As the two strands are complementary, true mutations are found at the same position in both strands. In contrast, PCR or sequencing errors will result in errors in only one strand.
