  • Publication number: 20190378195
Abstract: In certain aspects, the disclosed implementations include methods and systems for providing transaction affinity merchant recommendation information performed by transaction affinity platform computing components that execute software stored in a memory. In certain aspects, the disclosed implementations may determine transaction affinity relationship data for transactions associated with a set of account records. Each account record in the set of account records may be associated with a set of users. The disclosed implementations may also determine transaction affinity relationship profiles based on transaction affinity profile parameters that are associated with the transaction affinity relationship data and first transaction data. Further, the disclosed implementations may determine one or more transaction affinity patterns based on the transaction affinity relationship data and the transaction affinity relationship profiles.

  • Publication number: 20190375709
Abstract: Binding of the transcriptional co-activator, YAP1, to the transcription factor Oct4, induces Sox2. which is a transcription actor necessary for the self-renewal of stem-like cells from non-small cell lung cancer. The WW domain of YAP1 binds to the PPxY motif of Oct4 to induce Sox2. Delivering a peptide corresponding to the WAV domain could prevent the induction of Sox2 and stemness. Similarly, peptides and mimetics of the PPxY motif would be able to inhibit stemness. Disclosed arc compounds that affect the Yap1:Oct4 interaction.

  • Publication number: 20190376927
Abstract: An online calibration system for an electrochemical sensor. The calibration system comprises a calibration electrode coupled with a redox species, where the redox species is configured to control a pH of a reference solution local to the calibration electrode, such that when a voltammetric signal is applied to the calibration electrode the output generated from the calibration system is determined by the local environment pH. The output signal from the calibration system is used to calibrate a reference potential generated by a reference system of the electrochemical sensor to correct for drift in the reference potential when the electrochemical sensor is being used. The calibration electrode may be disposed in a reference cell of the electrochemical sensor.

  • Publication number: 20190378026
Abstract: An approach for determining a veracity of a reported event is provided. In an embodiment, a set of predictor variables is retrieved from a selected use case. Each of these predictor values is a condition that indicates the veracity of the reported event. In addition, a set of hidden predictor variables is generated from a set of unstructured documents related to the reported event using a hidden Markov model that is based on the predictor variables using a cognitive system. These hidden predictor variables are combined with the set of predictor variables to generate a set of updated predictor variables. These updated predictor variables are used by the cognitive system to return a determination of the veracity of the reported event.
