Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a family of lighting fixtures (Hard Wired or Portable) that are based on Home Plug Technology. Each lighting fixture has lights and speakers built into a single unit. Once installed in the home or building, the system transmits audio, video, and electrical signals via existing standard AC electrical wiring, without any audio wiring. A base station transmits audio or video signals through the home or office building standard AC electrical wiring, and delivers the signals to the combined lighting and speaker fixtures. This technology is built into ceiling mounted light fixtures, wall sconces, vanity lighting, track lighting, wall mounted mirrors, outdoor lighting, portable lighting torcheres, or table lamps. A Home Plug transmitter chip sends the signals to a receiver chip in the lighting products. The home plug functionality is provided by simply plugging the base station into an existing AC outlet.

Abstract: A multi-function pliers for installing various hanging light fixtures and electrical connections needed for the installation of the hanging light fixtures. The multi-function pliers includes a pivot pin member; first and second movable jaw members rotatably mounted about the pivot pin member; and a pair of first and second movable handles detachably connected to the first and second movable jaw members, respectively, for pivotal movement of the first and second handles relative to the pivot pin member. Each of the first and second movable jaw members includes an interior side wall and an exterior side wall. Each of the interior side walls includes a recess aperture therein; each of the recess apertures are for detachably receiving a wire cutter member therein; and the wire cutter members cooperate to form a wire cutter assembly. Each of the wire cutter members includes a plurality of different sized cutters, respectively, for cutting and stripping electrical wire.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a lamp having USB ports for connecting computer peripheral devices to the lamp which is connected to a computer. The lamp has a circuit which includes the plurality of USB ports for connection with a plurality of computer peripheral devices. A computer having a USB port is connected to the lamp circuit in order to connect the computer peripherals through the lamp circuit to the computer.
