    Abstract: A tensional line release device with an adjustable, 360 degrees rotatable pull handle permitting smooth, steady release by a single finger trigger squeeze of a tensional line such as an archer bowstring allowing the maintenance of a stabilized aim. The device is composed of a tensional string retention chamber containing two contiguous, line impinging spheres, mounted in an inner journal, which are held together in an impinging position by inward pressure applied on the diametrically opposite points of the spheres by an external journal of the mechanism. Activation of the trigger mechanism results in movement of the external yoke decreasing the inward pressure on the two spheres so that impinging pressure contact between the two contiguous spheres is instantaneously overcome by the tension on the line causing it to slip between the spheres in a smooth release in a forward direction with no imposed horizontal oscillation or vertical bind.

    Abstract: A handle for use with an archery bow that allows the user to adjust the position of the holding hand which stabilizes the bow to an adjustable position relative to the bow itself. The bow frame includes a recessed portion (facing the bowstring) which receives the handle that is mounted on a rigid vertical shaft disposed within the recessed portion. The handle, body, which is shaped to comfortably accommodate the hand of the user, is spring biased about the shaft on a tapered annular ring allowing the handle body to be moved in two dimensions relative to the vertical shaft attached to the bow frame. A pair of sleeves are spring mounted longitudinally along the periphery of the shaft, the ends of which engage the tapered annular ring which allow for complete movement of the handle while still stabilizing it relative to the bow. The vertical shaft supporting the handle body is aligned with the bowstring.

    Abstract: An archery bow wherein the draw weight increases as a function of draw displacement to a point just short of maximum draw displacement, such that the draw weight is substantially reduced at maximum draw string displacement.First and second levers fixed together at approximately a 90 degree angle are rotatably coupled to a support arm fixed to the bow body. The bow string is anchored at each end to the first lever ends and disposed about pulleys connected at the bow limb ends. Separate limb tension cables are anchored between the limbs and pivotal rollers connected at the ends of the second lever. Rotation of the second lever (and pivotal rollers) approximately 90 degrees by displacing the bow string toward its maximum position causes each roller to move onto a fixed flat surface, substantially reducing the draw weight on the bow string just short of maximum draw displacement.

    Abstract: An archery bow and drawstring pulley assembly which is mounted at each end of an archery bow limb for receiving a drawstring. Each pulley assembly includes a first U-shaped housing which is connected to a bow limb, a second housing which is U-shaped and receivable between the U-shaped first housing walls. A pulley wheel is mounted on a pin disposed within the second housing. The first and second housings are hinged together, which allows the second pulley housing to be pivoted relative to the first housing. A rigid shaft is connected to the first and second housings which allows for threadably adjusting the position of the second housing with respect to the first housing. The pulley assembly allows for precise tensioning adjustment of the bow drawstring by movement of the positioning shaft to the exact desired position without experiencing any loss of bow string force.
