  • Patent number: 7143968
Abstract: A rock crushing plant including rock crushers, screens and conveyors. The assembly is modularized whereby major components and associated support structures are organized into movable modules that are independently movable from site to site over public roadways. The modules are equipped with appropriate support wheels for traveling and stabilizing jacks for stabilization of the modules at a rock crushing site. Modifications are made to certain of the components to satisfy road height and width restrictions, e.g., folding conveyors. Each module is preferably equipped with its own power plant.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 4, 2005
Date of Patent: December 5, 2006
    Assignee: Johnson Crushers International
Inventors: James Donald Brock, Gary P. Heeszel, Jeremiah West, Lawrence Calvin Olsen, Robert W. Carnes
  • Patent number: 6953121
Abstract: A vibrating screen assembly supported by springs is provided which is used to size separate rock and other material. The present invention includes increasing the natural frequency of the screen assembly by stiffening the individual screen decks of the screen assembly, to enable the screen assembly to operate at higher operating speeds without prematurely failing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 5, 2003
Date of Patent: October 11, 2005
    Assignee: Johnson Crushers International
Inventors: Lawrence Calvin Olsen, Benjamin James Boyce

  • Patent number: 6386375
Abstract: A vibrating screen supported by springs and vibrated via rotating gear sets. The gears are provided with off center weights synchronized to produce angularly directed vibration for moving the material from end to end on the screen. The gears are lubricated with a bath of low viscosity lubricant which is vibrated to form lubricant spikes that extend into the path of the weights to be propelled by the weights into the gears. The weights are substantially crescent shaped at their leading end to avoid hammer like impact of the lubricant and to thereby reduce heat generation.
