Abstract: An illuminated magnetic retrieval apparatus includes an illumination module which includes a handle portion which houses a battery power supply and which houses illumination circuit means powered by the battery power supply. A flexible optical fiber light conveyance is connected to the handle portion for receiving light from the illumination circuit means. The illumination circuit means include an illumination actuation switch and a light source operated by the illumination actuation switch. The handle portion further includes a housing-mounted electrical connector and an electromagnet actuation switch that is electrically connected to the housing-mounted electrical connector. An electromagnetic retrieval module is connected to the illumination module with cap-shaped handle connection means. The electromagnetic retrieval module also includes a flexible tube for jacketing the flexible optical fiber light conveyance.

Abstract: A toilet plunger apparatus includes a handle and an air compression/expansion bellows portion connected to the handle. The bellows portion includes a distal end. A substantially rigid offset-angle adapter is connected to the bellows distal end. The offset-angle adapter includes a first adapter arm portion having a first arm outer diameter and a second adapter arm portion having a second arm outer diameter. The second adapter arm portion includes an open distal arm portion end. The second arm outer diameter is less than the first arm outer diameter, and the second adapter arm portion is oriented with respect to the first adapter arm portion at an arm-to-arm offset angle which is preferably, approximately 135 angular degrees. An adapter kit having an offset-angle adapter in accordance with the invention can be provided for retrofitting a conventional bellows-type toilet plunger.

Abstract: A boot cover apparatus is provided for an extendable top that is contained in a top-reception well in a motor vehicle. The boot cover apparatus includes a flexible cover member which includes a front cover end and a rear cover end. The front cover end is attached to a wall portion of the top-reception well. A first hook or loop connector is attached to the rear cover end, and a second loop or hook connector attached to a portion of the extendable top. The first hook or loop connector is connected to the second loop or hook connector when the extendable top is contracted into the top-reception well. The cover member includes side wings that extend transversely from the cover member. The rear cover end includes a stiffener member onto which the first hook or loop connector is attached. The extendable top includes a top bow, and the second loop or hook connector is attached to the top bow.
