  • Publication number: 20240158213
Abstract: Automated jackstand systems and methods deploy a jackstand to support a front end of a trailer parked at an automated loading dock. The jackstand prevents collapse of the trailer's landing gear and prevents upending of the trailer during loading and unloading. Advantageously, by deploying the jackstand automatically, presence of personnel in the yard where tractors and trailers are moving is not required.

  • Publication number: 20160324313
Abstract: A multi-directional apparel rack for transport and storage of a plurality of garments in a confined space. The use of catenaries to support hangers allows garments to be easily spaced and compressed to allow selection without damaging neighboring garments. A large quantity of garments is visible from multiple sides so garments may be categorized. The catenaries are optionally removable so that multiple garments can be moved from a transport rack to a display rack, or between display racks quickly and easily as a group, rather than individually.

  • Patent number: 6081078
Abstract: An electron beam tends to slope downwardly as it is deflected horizontally to form a raster in a video display apparatus. The sloping of the beam can cause geometric errors in the raster, for example orthogonality and parallelogram errors. A raster correction circuit substantially offsets the downward slope of the electron beam by modulating a vertical deflection current with an induced horizontal-rate raster correction current, thereby substantially eliminating orthogonality and parallelogram errors in the raster. In respective embodiments of an inventive arrangement taught herein, the horizontal-rate raster correction current is induced in the vertical deflection coils by magnetically coupling a filament pulse waveform, a horizontal deflection voltage waveform, or a horizontal deflection current into the vertical deflection coils.

Abstract: An electron beam tends to slope downwardly as it is deflected horizontally to form a raster in a video display apparatus. The sloping of the beam can cause geometric errors in the raster, for example, orthogonality and parallelogram errors. A raster correction circuit offsets orthogonality and parallelogram errors in a raster by modulating a horizontal deflection current at a vertical scanning rate. The raster correction current is phased in relation to a horizontal-rate deflection current such that scan lines in an upper-half portion of the raster are shifted to the right, and scan lines in a lower-half portion of the raster are shifted to the left.

  • Patent number: 4032819
Abstract: A convergence circuit coupled in parallel with a deflection winding are AC coupled to an output terminal of a deflection amplifier. Rectifiers in the convergence circuit are poled such that the deflection amplifier output current is assymmetrically loaded during the trace portion of each deflection cycle, causing a net direct current of a first polarity through the deflection winding which off-centers the raster. A direct current path coupled in shunt with the yoke coupling capacitor permits conduction of a direct current of a second polarity through the deflection winding for controlling the centering of the raster.

  • Patent number: 3944883
Abstract: A deflection system, utilizing a deflection generator coupled to a deflection winding to provide a current in the deflection winding having a magnitude which is a function of the elasped time after a retrace pulse and which changes substantially linearly, includes a retrace pulse generator. The retrace pulse generator utilizes a first gating circuit to provide for controllable coupling between a source of trigger pulses having a first time interval therebetween and a first monostable retrace pulse generator circuit. Fixed width retrace pulses are thereby generated in response to trigger pulses. A second monostable circuit responsive to the retrace pulses is coupled to the first gate for inhibiting the flow of pulses through the first gate for a second interval of time which is less than the first interval of time. The first monostable circuit is therefore immune to noise pulses occurring during the second interval of time.
