    Abstract: A self-contained light source for attachment to a Hertel-type exophthalmometer. The device requires no structural alteration of the exophthalmometer and allows for variable positioning of the light source on the exophthalmometer. The device is designed to provide the exophthalmometer with hands free illumination of the eye area and the measuring scale to allow the operator use of both hands when measuring exophthalmus.
