  • Publication number: 20210008700
Abstract: A pipe mounting device includes an elongate part and a mounting head attached to a first end of the elongate part. The mounting head is sized and configured for positioning within a pipe end. The pipe mounting device is movable via the elongate part between a first position in which the mounting head is passable through an inner diameter of the pipe end along a length, and a second position in which the mounting head lockingly engages with the inner diameter of the pipe end and is usable to secure a position of the pipe end below a subfloor.

  • Patent number: 10870977
Abstract: A drain system includes a support frame installable in a tile floor that has a base portion and a wall portion that forms a seat for a drain cover within the support frame. The wall portion defines a cover-facing surface arranged to interface with the drain cover, and a tile-facing surface arranged to face one or more tiles surrounding the support frame. One or more material locking features are on the tile facing surface to help retain grout between the support frame and the surrounding tiles. During installation of the support frame in the tile floor, the vertical position of the support frame over the drain opening is adjustable and the support frame does not extend downwardly into the drain opening such that the support frame is floatable over the drain opening for lateral and rotational adjustment of the support frame relative to the drain opening.

  • Publication number: 20200291628
Abstract: A floor drain system for installation in a tile floor over a subfloor includes at least one drain module. The drain module has a drain body defining an inlet and installable in the subfloor. The drain body is configured for attachment to a drain pipe below the subfloor. A drain trim assembly defines a linear drain channel sloping along a length of the drain trim assembly that is intercepted by an outlet positionable over the drain body. The drain trim assembly is configured for installation with the tile floor entirely above the subfloor and without physically interfacing with an opening of the drain body.

  • Publication number: 20200284019
Abstract: A drain system includes a support frame configured to support and position a drain cover over a drain opening in a tile floor. The support frame has a base portion and a wall portion projecting upwardly from the base portion to define a seat for the drain cover within the support frame. A release surface on the wall portion tapers and slopes inwardly from a top of the wall portion. The release surface is arranged to interface with the drain cover and reduce frictional and shear forces between the drain cover and the support frame during removal of the drain cover from the support frame.

  • Publication number: 20200224432
Abstract: A flooring system includes a gridwork having a modular configuration that defines a grid with cells for receiving a filler material which forms a bed or floor base sloping toward a drain fixture. The gridwork includes different groupings of leveling holes located at selected junctions between adjacent cells that are arranged to selectively move or tilt the gridwork relative to an underlying base in conjunction with the formation of the bed or floor base.

  • Publication number: 20180155915
Abstract: A debris trap for use with a linear drain includes a body having an elongated configuration and defining a base and a back wall upwardly extending from the base. A plurality of prongs laterally extend from the body along a length of the base. The prongs arranged to both resiliently secure the debris trap within an internal channel of the linear drain and catch hair and other debris that enter the linear drain.

  • Patent number: 9657485
Abstract: A tile leveling system includes an anchor member arranged to be positioned in a setting bed below adjacent tiles. A tensioning member extends upwardly from the anchor member and is arranged to pass between the adjacent tiles. The tensioning member is made of a metallic material and frangibly connected to the anchor member via a breakage point. A loading system is arranged to be positioned on top of the adjacent tiles and includes a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism is connected to the tensioning member and is selectively operable to secure and level the adjacent tiles between the anchor member and the loading system.
