  • Patent number: 12210015
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system that illuminates one face of a lateral flow assay test strip or test strip assembly with light of selected wavelengths and intensities and measures the resulting light intensities at the opposite face at the test stain line region and adjacent regions, in order to determine the value of analyte concentration over an extremely wide range, including values too small to produce a visible test stain line.

Date of Patent: January 28, 2025
    Assignee: Xtrava Inc.
Inventors: Sameh Sarhan, Lawrence Herbert Zuckerman
  • Patent number: 11493511
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for registering and interpreting the results of lateral flow assay determination by using electric, magnetic, and RF sensors incorporated within the test strip, attached to the inside of the enclosure for same and/or contained in a test fixture; instead of relying on optical inspection techniques. This method features high reliability, low cost, and ability for quantitative and dynamic measurements.

  • Patent number: 10868574
Abstract: A method to cancel amplitude modulation noise (contamination) of an input (carrier) signal, including: receiving an input monochromatic signal contaminated with amplitude modulation noise; demodulating the amplitude modulation noise to generate a baseband amplitude modulation noise signal; signal processing the baseband amplitude modulation noise signal to generate an amplitude modulation noise cancelation signal; and amplitude modulating the input signal based on the amplitude modulation noise cancelation signal to generate an output signal, the output signal having less amplitude modulation noise than the input signal. A feedforward implementation can use signal inversion to generate a feedforward amplitude modulation noise cancelation signal. A feedback implementation, implemented with a gain controlled amplifier, can be based on, in a feedback path, demodulating the amplitude noise modulation signal in a feedback gain-controlled input signal to generate a feedback gain control signal.

  • Publication number: 20180353069
Abstract: This disclosure describes a means for individuals in random locations, whether or not in motion, to communicate with a wearable wellness monitor or any other device without the need to carry electronic communication equipment, by using a wireless network consisting of short-range nodes distributed throughout a home, clinic or other premises. These nodes provide two-way communication with the individuals using verbal announcements, light signals, audible alarms, voice and word recognition, and hand gestures.

  • Patent number: 10135477
Abstract: A method for cancellation of amplitude modulation noise using feedforward or feedback topologies. The method is adaptable to cancel amplitude modulation noise (contamination) of an input signal, including: receiving an input signal including an amplitude modulation noise signal; demodulating the amplitude modulation noise signal to generate a baseband amplitude modulation noise signal; signal processing the baseband amplitude modulation noise signal to generate a amplitude re-modulation signal; and re-modulating the input signal based on the amplitude re-modulation signal to generate an output signal, the output signal having less amplitude modulation noise than the input signal. In a feedforward embodiment, the methodology includes: signal processing the baseband amplitude modulation noise signal based on signal inversion to generate the amplitude re-modulation signal; and feeding forward the amplitude re-modulation signal to re-modulate the amplitude re-modulation signal with the input signal.
