  • Patent number: 10884553
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a light guide comprising a frame defining a central space, at least first reflective surface formed on a bottom side of the frame and at least second reflective surface formed on a top side of the frame. A light emitted by a light emitting element is capable of being reflected by the at least first reflective surface and the at least second reflective surface to a light receiving element. The present disclosure also provides a touch screen assembly.

  • Patent number: 8699061
Abstract: In one example, a control panel system for a printer includes a portable control panel configured to receive user input to control printer functions and a stationary control panel configured to receive user input to control printer functions. In this example, the portable control panel has a wireless connector for making a wireless connection to the printer. In another example, a control panel system for a device (for example a printer) includes: a portable control panel; a stationary control touch panel; a dock configured to receive the portable control panel; and a feature configured to inhibit the portable control panel from triggering touch sensitive buttons on the stationary control panel during docking and undocking. In this example, the stationary control touch panel is hidden from view by the portable control panel and inaccessible to the user when the portable control panel is docked.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 20, 2010
Date of Patent: April 15, 2014
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.

  • Patent number: 7319542
Abstract: A method of document rehabilitation typically includes providing an original document having a set of desirable markings that are substantially achromatic, and a set of undesirable markings, and generating an image file that includes color data corresponding to the original document. A transform filter may be applied to the image file so that the color data for each undesirable marking is mapped to a non-reproduced color, and the color data for each desirable marking is unchanged.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7145586
Abstract: Marking an optical disc based on information related to the data side thereof is disclosed. Information related to the data side of the optical disc is first determined. A marking based on the data side of the optical disc as has been read is then written with a laser to a label area on either the data side or the label side of the optical disc.

  • Patent number: 5729912
Abstract: An adjustment system for a shoe which permits independent adjustment of the width, footform and cushioning either between the lateral and medial sides of the shoe, or at different points along the longitudinal direction of the shoe. The present invention provides for the adjustment of the dimensions of a shoe in a plurality of discrete locations as between a nominal central point in the forefoot area of the sole and the medial and/or lateral aspects thereof. Adjustment would entail adjusting the width or girth in an associated area and the overall shape of the outline of the sole of a shoe. This is accomplished by providing a material variance in the midsole and various hardware configurations for adjusting the width of the midsole.
