  • Patent number: 5842902
Abstract: A magnetically propelled pendulum toy which includes a base and a toy member at the end of the pendulum and movable relative to the base. One end of the pendulum is connected to the toy member and the other end is connected to an arm that extends above the base so that the toy member can swing back and forth in pendulum fashion. The toy member and/or pendulum is caused to move back and forth because of the action of magnets in the base and in the toy member and switches in the toy member cause lights in the toy member to blink on and off as a function of the pendulum-like movement of the toy relative to the base.

  • Patent number: 5066157
Abstract: A brush applicator device is disclosed herein which is adapted for use with a squeeze tube. The applicator device includes an annular mounting member which has an opening extending completely therethrough. The applicator device is adapted to be threadably connected to the squeeze tube and includes a plurality of bristles connected at one end of the mounting member. An extension member extends from one end of the mounting member and terminates in the middle of the bristle members so that material squeezed into the opening from the squeeze tube travels to and is discharged in the middle of the bristle members. A wedge shaped annular sealing member is attached to the mounting member in the area of connection to the end of the squeeze tube and facilitates sealing between the mounting member and the squeeze tube. A bristle area adaptor is also disclosed for use with the brush applicator for the purpose of reducing the area of the bristles when a finer and/or precise area is needed.

  • Patent number: 4941212
Abstract: A method is disclosed for making a facial and/or body prosthesis or appliance by means of molding and forming techniques. The material formed into the final prosthesis is a specific material uniquely adapted for the purpose. The material is a closed-cell, cross-linked, polyethylene and is in sheet form having a thickness in the range of from 1/64 inch to 1/4 inch and a density of between 11/2 and 9 pounds per cubic foot. The disclosure also includes the prosthesis per se as well as the method of making up a human face or body with the use of the prosthesis.

  • Patent number: 4534961
Abstract: A wax base makeup composition primarily for use by children in creating various disguises. The composition consists essentially of from 85 to 92% of amber microcrystalline wax intimately admixed with 8 to 15% petrolatum. Artificial coloring materials are added and a copper activated zinc sulfide pigment may be added.

  • Patent number: 4477430
Abstract: A liquid base makeup composition primarily for use by children to simulate various things, for example, blood. This composition is relatively inexpensive and is quite safe for children's use. The composition consists essentially of about 2.0 to 3.0% cellulose; 0.2 to 0.3% quaternium-15; and the balance of the total being water. The quaternium-15 acts to keep the formulation free from unwanted bacteria and the pH of the formulation is between 7.0 and 9.5.

  • Patent number: 4349535
Abstract: A liquid base makeup composition primarily for use by children to simulate various things, for example, blood. This composition is relatively inexpensive and is quite safe for children's use. The composition consists essentially of about 96.48% water; 2.0% cellulose, 1.34% chlorine dioxide; 0 to 0.015% ethylparaben and propylparaben to destroy pathogenic bacteria; 0 to 0.03% phosphoric acid to reduce and maintain the pH of the formulation in the ranges of about 5.0 to 6.0 in the event the pH is above the range of 5.0 to 6.0.
