  • Patent number: 9256602
Abstract: A system and method for distributing playable content and for recommending playable content to a user where the recommendations are generated at a wide area network content server considering information extracted from one or more playback devices of the user by means of an intelligent agent resident on a processing device. The intelligent agent functions to scan the memory devices associated with the processing device and/or other devices in communication with the processing device for the purpose of determining what playable content is resident on the memory devices so scanned. Data related to the playable content uncovered during a scan is uploaded to the wide area network content server where the data is usable by a recommendation engine to make more informed recommendations for that user.

  • Publication number: 20070297828
Abstract: Techniques for attaching a replacement chip to an imaging cartridge are described. An exemplary method of modifying a toner hopper assembly for use in a toner cartridge consists of providing the toner hopper assembly having a generally cylindrical shape and an at least partially non-functioning electronic chip with electrical contacts disposed in an endplate section of the generally cylindrical shape. The method further modifies the toner hopper assembly by affixing a replacement chip to the toner hopper assembly to form a modified toner hopper assembly. The replacement chip includes replacement electrical contacts which allow the replacement chip to communicate with a printer when the modified toner cartridge is installed in the printer.

  • Publication number: 20060198656
Abstract: A seal assembly for use in an imaging cartridge includes a gasket having an elongate gasket opening and a seal having first and second sides. The first side of the seal is at least partially affixed to a first side of the gasket and covers the gasket opening. The seal includes a seal tail extending over at least a portion of the second side of the seal such that an underside of the seal tail is adjacent to the second side of the seal. A tying element affixes the underside of the seal tail to the seal assembly.

  • Publication number: 20050146833
Abstract: A disposable grounding strap is provided. The disposable grounding strap includes an elongate conductive material uniformly conductive along its length. A first outer layer is coated with non-conductive heat sealable plastic on a side disposed adjacent to a first side of the conductive material, with the first outer layer having a width greater than the width of the conductive material. A second outer layer is coated with non-conductive heat sealable plastic on a side disposed adjacent to a second side of the conductive material, with the second outer layer having a width greater than the width of the conductive material. The non-conductive heat sealable plastic of the second outer layer is partially heat sealed to the non-conductive heat sealable plastic of the first outer layer along at least a portion of the length of the conductive material.

  • Patent number: 4776456
Abstract: A toilet brush holder provided with a container for the brush and a cover having a frictional fit with the upper end of the container but which can be manually removed and applied to the lower end of the container to act as a supporting base for the container. The cover has a central opening through which the handle of the brush, but not the brush itself, can pass. The frictional fit of the cover and the container is such that the holder with the brush in the container can be suspended by the brush handle without detaching the cover from the container. The container has a projection at its lower end which fits into the opening in the cover when the cover is applied to the lower end of the container to act as a base.

  • Patent number: 4367819
Abstract: A display rack comprising a relatively long and narrow support member with a plurality of projections spaced therealong, each projection having a plurality of differently oriented holes for receiving an arm of a hook so that a hook may extend in the same direction regardless of the orientation of the support. The hook may also have a foot which engages the support when the support extends vertically or which engages the supporting surface on which the support is mounted when the support extends horizontally.

  • Patent number: 4362285
Abstract: A support for a hook for displaying articles, such support being insertable into a C-shaped channel secured to a shelf and being slidable therealong. The support has a body with a tapered first edge portion, an opposite side and a pair of lateral sides. A resilient arm extends from each lateral side, and each arm has a tapered lower portion and a post extending from adjacent a free end thereof. The body also has a projection extending from its face which has a pair of aligned openings for detachably receiving a hook. The tapered first edge portion and the tapered portions of the arms fit into recesses in the channel.
