  • Patent number: 11812709
Abstract: A device comprising a spiral building having greenhouse enclosures mounted thereon. The greenhouse enclosures include an interior growing area and at least one slanted glass surface having a reflective surface. The at least one slanted glass surface is disposed over a growing tray which is orientated towards perpendicular rays of the sun, when the sun is at an equinox. The reflective surface of the at least one slanted glass surface is reversed from its normal orientation such that the reflective surface is disposed on an inside of the at least one slanted glass surface, thus reflecting light admitted through the at least one slanted glass surface and directing the light to parts of the interior growing area.

  • Publication number: 20200087942
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provides a unique building structure, and a method to manufacture such building structure that may be able to withstand powerful forces of nature and extreme weather conditions, such as hurricanes, tornado, flood storm, high speed winds, forest fire, mud slide, tsunami, heavy snow, and the like. The building structure may comprise of a concrete anchor unit to which an assembly of structural compression modules and horizontal and vertical tension elements may be attached. The assembly of compression modules and tension elements effectively transfers the natural forces acting along the building structure, thereby resisting the forces by the tension elements. The building structure may be independent of foundation and can be placed anywhere there is solid bearing material that will support its weight. Further, the present invention aims at providing the unique building structure and the manufacturing method at competitive pricing rates.

  • Publication number: 20190141910
Abstract: The present invention provides an architecture for performing vertical farming. The embodiments of the present invention disclose an arrangement of a plurality of reflective surfaces to maximize the amount of most beneficial natural light that can be gathered. The pluralities of reflective surfaces are arranged strategically in the polygonal architecture to direct the available natural light to the furthest reach of the growing area. Additionally, the architecture provides spiral arrangement of one or more growing panels where each growing panel is at predetermined height from the preceding growing panel.

  • Publication number: 20180070538
Abstract: A spiral building having greenhouse enclosures mounted thereon is provided where the greenhouse enclosures have a slanted glass surface over the growing trays which is oriented toward the perpendicular rays of the sun at the equinox and where the glazing in portions of the exterior is reversed from its normal orientation and the reflective surfaces are on the inside, thus reflecting the light admitted through the glass and directing it to parts of the interior growing area.
