Abstract: A digital microscopy system includes a microscope with optics. The digital microscopy system also includes a digital camera operatively secured to the microscope such that the digital camera operates to acquire digital photographs through the optics of the microscope. A controller is communicatively connected to the digital camera, such that the computer receives the acquired digital photographs from the digital camera. The controller further executes computer-readable code upon which the computer operates a graphical display to present a graphical user interface (GUI) configured to present at least one of the acquired digital photographs and at least one stored sample image.
