  • Publication number: 20220176421
Abstract: This present invention relates to a plumbing tool support accessory designed to support and stabilize a drain snake tool during a drain clearing process. The plumbing tool support accessory comprises at least two cutout grooves or notches along the rim of a bucket or other receptacle, such that the cutout grooves or notches are present diametrically opposite each other, thereby enabling the drain snake tool to be easily and securely placed in said grooves or notches. The plumbing tool support accessory of the present invention provides hands-free support to the drain snake tool and may also feature a cover having pockets to enable the user to keep smaller tools and equipment required for plumbing tasks stored therein.

  • Publication number: 20070229018
Abstract: A permanent magnet brushless (PMBL) servo motor test apparatus and method allow testing of a motor in place. A set of static and dynamic tests is performed to determine proper motor operation of armature windings and rotor feedback devices. The test system of the present invention displaces the motor drive system. The test system comprises an armature driver, a feedback device input, and a system controller. The armature windings of the motor-under-test are driven in a polarity sequence according to a test sequence, whereby the rotor is driven in a series of rotations. Angle feedback is tested at a plurality of said rotations. Rotor velocity outputs are tested during said rotations. Armature current and voltage are determined at a plurality of said rotations and winding balance is tested. Said power switch is also operative to apply a voltage between the armature windings and the motor case to test for fault current flow.

  • Patent number: 6307861
Abstract: A multicast message is transmitted from an originating subscriber unit (110, FIG. 1) through a network of satellite communications nodes (120, 130, and 140) to a plurality of receiving subscriber units (150, 160, and 170). Each message is distributed through the network of satellite communications nodes (120, 130, and 140) and replicated at the node nearest to the receiving subscriber unit. Receiving subscriber units (150, 160, and 170) are mapped into geographic cells which allows a single multicast transmission to be transmitted from the satellite communications node to those subscriber units within the same geographic cell. Multicast groups and membership rules are established by the originating subscriber unit (110) through a service provider (180). A multicast session manager (185) manages the multicast session.

  • Patent number: 5443238
Abstract: A picture hanging system using a flexible sheet material device in a generally T-shaped form having an opening adjacent the outer end of the center leg and the head includes spaced legs at opposite ends extending parallel to the leg and the leg is threadable through die cut slits in a backing member that is attachable to a picture frame or the like. The hanger device which is preferably cut out from mylar sheet material provides a strong and sturdy hanger which together with the threadable attachment to the slit sheet backing member will support and hold considerable framed picture weight and mounting with conventional wall fastener devices.

  • Patent number: 4089805
Abstract: A process for preparing a gasiform hydrocarbon fuel from a hydrocarbon fuel oil, and maintaining same in such form into a gasiform burner, which comprises:(a) partially vaporizing a liquid hydrocarbon fuel oil having a gravity of about 10.degree.-50.degree. A.P.I. at a temperature of 350.degree.-675.degree. F. in the presence of 5-90 percent by weight of non-oxidizing gas based on the weight of the vaporized portion of said hydrocarbon fuel oil, thereby producing a gasiform hydrocarbon fuel and a liquid residue, said gasiform hydrocarbon fuel consisting essentially of said vaporized liquid hydrocarbon and said non-oxidizing gas;(b) separating said gasiform hydrocarbon from said liquid residue; and(c) superheating said gasiform fuel to maintain said gasiform fuel in the vapor state unitl it is burned, and(d) thereafter burning said gasiform fuel in said gasiform burner.
