  • Publication number: 20070270355
Abstract: A composition includes a plurality of amino acids. The plurality of amino acids includes at least one essential amino acid and at least one non-essential amino acid. The plurality of amino acids also includes at least one branch-chain amino acid. The composition also includes a source of carbohydrates. The compositions also includes purified water. The plurality of amino acids comprises about 1 wt % of the composition. A composition includes a plurality of amino acids, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium phosphate, flavoring, a source of carbohydrates, and purified water. In some embodiments of the composition, the plurality of amino acids includes alanine, arginine, aspartate, cystine, glutamine, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonin, tryptophan, tyrosine, and valine.

  • Patent number: 6424063
Abstract: A generator rotor lead path configuration includes a plurality of electrically conductive components attached to each other. These components may include a cleat and a wedge. The improved lead path inhibits, if not prevents, lead path failure. A method of assembling or fitting the lead path into a generator is also provided, as well as a method of replacing or retrofitting a lead path that is susceptible to failure with the improved lead path configuration. Assistance in determining causes of lead path failure and ways to overcome lead path failure are also provided.

  • Patent number: 5953917
Abstract: A thermo-volumetric motor (10) includes a continuous incompressible fluid path in the form of a hydraulic oil path (12), a continuous compressible fluid path in the form of a refrigerant path (14), and a solar collector (18). The solar collector (18) is adapted to absorb heat from a heat source, in this example, sunlight. The hydraulic oil path (12) includes a pressure transfer mechanism, in this example a pair of hydraulic cylinders (20A, 20B) located in a parallel flow arrangement. The oil path (12) further comprises an actuating device, in this example a hydraulic loader (22), in fluid communication with a first heat exchanger (24). The refrigerant path (14) comprises a pump (28) operatively coupled to the hydraulic motor (22), and a heat transfer device, in this example a second heat exchanger (25). The refrigerant path (14) further comprises a cooling unit, in this example a first accumulator or condenser (32), used for cooling the refrigerant.
