    Abstract: The first stage buckets have airfoil profiles substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth Table I wherein X and Y values are in inches and the Z value is non-dimensional along the bucket centerline coincident with a turbine radius and convertible to a Z distance in inches from the turbine axis by multiplying the Z value by the height of the airfoil and adding the root radius to the result. The X and Y distances may be scalable as a function of the same constant or number to provide a scaled up or scaled down airfoil section for the bucket. The nominal airfoil given by the X, Y and Z distances lies within an envelop of ±0.160 inches.

    Abstract: An inter-axle differential assembly having a lubrication pump is provided. The pump is disposed between the input and output shafts of the differential within a bore defined by a side gear coupled to or integral with the output shaft. The pump includes a housing that defines first and second ports and includes an arcuate groove in a radially outer surface. A pin extends radially inwardly from the side gear and is received within the groove. The groove and pin cooperate to enable rotation of the entire pump relative to the side gear and to thereby exchange the positions of the two ports. In this manner, the assembly provides a reversible pump that provides lubricant only during relative rotation between the input and output shafts of the differential.

    Abstract: Rigid cover panels of the cover for grain storage tubes on combines, harvesting machine, are preferably fabricated of double-wall plastic to limit weight of the cover while providing desired strength and rigidity. The rigid cover panels can be pivoted about top edges of an underlying grain tank whereby the cover panels function as a height extension of the underlying tank, thus to increase the grain-carrying capacity of the tank. Flexible transition panels are preferably mounted to the rigid cover panels to bridge spaces between edge regions of the rigid cover panels when the rigid cover panels are raised to their upright, tank-extending orientations. A preferably single underlying actuator in the tank, in combination with mechanical linkages, can simultaneously raise all the rigid cover panels, all the flexible transition panels, and the discharge end of a clean grain elevator which discharges grain into the tank.

    Abstract: A door and housing assembly for controlling air flow through the housing. The housing is adapted to be mounted in a ventilating system for controlling the direction and flow of air passing through the system. The door is actuated to move between two end positions where the respective air pathways are each sealed. The door can be positioned at any location between the end positions to control air flowing to the respective air pathways. The door includes guide pins on edges thereof that move along slots located in the inner sidewalls of the housing and guide the door between its end positions to locate the door in selected intermediate positions thereof. The slots for guiding the door may be steeply angled with respect to the seals so as to create minimal wiping of the respective seals upon engagement and dis-engagement between the door and seals at end positions of door travel.

A portion of the internal axis adjacent the second opening is at an angle greater than zero degrees relative to the horizontal longitudinal axis of the container. Each of the inlet and outlet control means preferably are single ported valves.

These boards/routines find their way into machines at various remote sites each connected to a base by a remote link. A monitor program is run by a microprocessor resident at each remote site. It periodically collects the serial numbers and other information regarding the boards/routines, and transmits the information to a base running a base program. The base program interacting with a database, determines the hardware/software configuration, performance history, tracks the lifecycle of a board/routine. It may also be possible to determine remote sites running unauthorized ‘protected property’.

The solid fuel elements may be introduced into the hot gas stream at at least one point between the mineral-inlet end of the rotary kiln and the lowermost cyclone of an associated preheater system, e.g. into the gas stream within a precalciner vessel or riser duct. Preferably, tertiary air from a clinker cooling apparatus is supplied downstream of the combustion zone (relative to the flow of kiln exhaust gas).
