  • Patent number: 10310124
Abstract: A floating vessel based system generates a multidimensional seismic data set for a target area. The floating vessel based system includes a seismic source proximate to a floating vessel, providing a plurality of seismic energy pulses through water to the target area forming a plurality of reflected seismic energy pulses, a non-stationary seismic node configured for being towed from the floating vessel using at least one rope through the water, a non-stationary seismic node, and a second processor with second data storage on the floating vessel. The second data storage instructs the second processor to receive, each digital data series, combines the digital data series for all non-stationary seismic nodes utilized, and automatically generates multidimensional seismic data set for the target area.

  • Patent number: 9910175
Abstract: Method and apparatus for marine seismic data collection and high resolution imaging is described. A marine seismic surveying flotilla is described for acquiring seismic data from both beneath an obstruction and in unobstructed water using a configuration of floating energy source vessels and a floating acquisition vessel towing an array of parallel seismic streamers. Different energy sources can be disposed on or towed by floating vessels that are not the floating acquisition vessel, with these energy sources maintained at a preset radius from a center of the array of parallel seismic streamers.

  • Publication number: 20060261644
Abstract: A folding tray assembly includes a support member and a tray member. The tray member is pivotably supported by the support member and is moveable relative thereto between a use position and a stowed position. The folding tray assembly further includes a locking mechanism operable to selectively lock the tray member to the support member in one of either the use position or the stowed position. The locking mechanism is housed within the tray assembly such that the mechanism is not visible or accessible by an occupant, but rather remotely actuated by a handle or lever. The support member, tray member, and locking mechanism are assembled together using integrally formed fasteners and do not require the use of individual mechanical fasteners. In one exemplary embodiment, the support member, tray member, and locking mechanism are snap-fit together using a tab/slot arrangement.

Abstract: A folding tray assembly is provided and includes a support member and a tray member, whereby the tray member is pivotably supported by the support member and moveable relative thereto between a use position and a stowed position. The folding tray assembly further includes a locking mechanism operable to selectively lock the tray member to the support member in one of either the use position or the stowed position. The locking mechanism is housed within the tray member such that the mechanism is not visible or accessible by an occupant, but rather remotely actuated by a handle or lever. In addition, the tray assembly eliminates external supports by providing support within the tray member, thereby providing an open space below the tray member and giving the tray assembly a generally L-shape in the use position.
