Embodiments comprise 10 to 50 wt % of a residual hydrocarbon component, with the remaining 50 to 90 wt % selected from a non-hydroprocessed hydrocarbon component, a hydroprocessed hydrocarbon component, and a combination thereof. Embodiments of the marine fuel composition can have a sulphur content of about 0.1 wt % or less.

Abstract: A low-pressure process for hydrodenitrogenation and hydrodesulfurization of a gas oil feedstock. The process uses a multi-bed, stacked-bed reactor system. The first and third beds of the multi-bed, stacked-bed reactor system include catalysts that comprise cobalt and molybdenum supported on alumina. The middle, second bed, includes a catalyst comprising nickel and molybdenum supported on alumina that preferably includes an additive. The stacked bed arrangement with the use of the specific catalysts provides for the low-pressure operation and significantly improved HDN and HDS activity with relatively insignificant differences in hydrogen consumption.

Abstract: A process and catalyst that provides for the upgrading of a high endpoint gas oil feedstock that contains significant concentrations of organic sulfur compound and organic nitrogen compounds. Included among the sulfur compounds are the dimethyl-dibenzothiophenes and derivative thereof. The catalyst of the process is an additive impregnated composition or a derivative thereof that further comprises cobalt and molybdenum. The process provides for the upgrading the high endpoint gas oil feedstock by significantly reducing the difficult to remove thiophene and nitrogen compounds and the process does this with a significantly reduced hydrogen consumption relative to processes using comparative catalysts.

Abstract: A vehicle-mounted device for hoisting and transporting big game such as deer, and more particularly a device for mounting on an all-terrain vehicle such as a quad, is disclosed. The device includes two or more spaced-apart lift lines for encircling the trunk of a big-game carcass so as to hoist and transport the carcass with the trunk extending substantially horizontally. The lift lines are attached to a common reel rotatably mounted to the vehicle. The device includes a hand crank for rotating the reel so as to spool in the lift lines and a hand-manipulable set screw for locking the reel and lift lines during transportation of the carcass.

Abstract: A method for monitoring multiple electronic mail systems includes the steps of: a) configuring an e-mail system polling process on a user's machine; b) polling a number of e-mail systems from the user's machine; c) retrieving data from the e-mail systems concerning mail intended for the user; and d) storing the data on the user's machine in a format that permits the storage and retrieval of data pertaining to the plurality of e-mail systems. The polling can be accomplished in the background while the user is performing other tasks on the computer system. An apparatus for monitoring multiple electronic mail systems includes a digital processor, read/write memory coupled to the digital processor, and at least one external communication channel coupled to the digital processor permitting the digital processor to communicate with a plurality of external electronic mail systems.

Abstract: An improved tie system for organizing and detachably securing moveable articles comprises a folding tie. The tie includes a foldable support element (20) having opposing sides and having both a male fastener patch (22) and a female fastener patch (23) such as hook-and-loop fasteners, on both opposing sides. Two fastener patches of complementary gender are located opposite one or more folding zones (24). The tie folds to enfold one or more articles (27) and detachably engages male and female fastener elements located on the same side of the support element. Upon folding the tie, the fastener elements of the tie engage in a releasable couple, and an article is thereby held and secured inside the fold. The folded tie may be collected with others of its own kind, in weakly-secure clusters, and also may be anchored and labeled.

Abstract: A device for the production of a dental working model for preparation of a prosthetic work comprises a body member having a blind arcuated cavity bounded by facing inner and outer cavity walls, for receiving semi-liquid model material. The blind end of the arcuate cavity is closed by a sacrificial membrane which is integral with the body member. The membrane is of sufficient thickness to contain the semi-liquid model material within the arcuate cavity and of sufficient thinness to be easily removed, for example, by grinding.
