    Abstract: In a temperature-sensitive alarm device incorporating a horn driven by a propellant which is stored in the liquid state in a pressure vessel, full utilization of the propellant for sounding the horn is obtained by incorporating into the pressure vessel a heat reservoir, such as a sealed bag of water, in order to release heat for maintaining rapid vaporization of the propellant.
