  • Patent number: 12199837
Abstract: A hybrid tree and network visualization represents a segmented computer network. The visualization presents an overview of the segmentation as a hierarchy and displays connections within the network. Using the visualization, analysts can explore a segmented network, identify nodes and connections of interest through exploratory network analysis, and drill down on elements of interest to reason about the patterns of relationships in the network. Thus, analysts can intuitively obtain a deeper understanding of the network to identify potential security threats and other problems as well as write better segmentation policies.

  • Patent number: 11248498
Abstract: A support system for assembling and shipping a steam turbine is provided that includes an annular support fixture configured to be coupled to a longitudinal end of a casing of the steam turbine. The annular support fixture includes a first protrusion that extends in an axial direction relative to a longitudinal axis of a rotor of the steam turbine between the rotor and the casing and that is configured to support the rotor in the radial direction. The annular support fixture includes a second protrusion, which extends in the radial direction toward a lateral surface of the rotor and which includes a surface configured to face the rotor in the axial direction. The support system includes a block configured to be disposed between the surface of the second protrusion and the rotor, such that the block blocks movement of the rotor in the axial direction during shipping of the steam turbine.

  • Publication number: 20160209146
Abstract: This invention relates to a shotgun tube, either an inserted/attached short section that replaces a conventional choice device, or one that forms an integral section of the shotgun barrel. It is designed to provide major advances in two performance features of shotguns: (1) It provides an extremely uniform expanded shot pattern at short ranges 10 to 20 feet and (2) it provides rotational stabilization for both rifled slugs and sabot encased sub-caliber projectiles that significantly improves accuracy at longer ranges.
