Abstract: A filtered RJ11 connector module that is adaptable for mounting on Home Phone Networking Alliance (HPNA) network interface card useful for home networking applications and other communication protocols involves the integration of filter module into the connector module itself. The filter module comprises an isolation transformer, common mode choke, filter components, high voltage capacitor and surge protection device that may be configured to customize any network interface card. Mounting of at least two light indicators on a printed circuit board is another embodiment of the invention and therefore, also an integral part of a filtered RJ11 connector module. The housing consists of at least one plug-receiving opening for receiving connector plugs that are electrically connected to a transmission medium.
