  • Patent number: 6560882
Abstract: A hand drawing machine which includes two spring-loaded spools. Each spool includes a length of flexible material, and each length of material is attached to a rigid stick or rod. The stick, which may be adjustable, includes a pair of stylus holders. The stylus holders can hold a marker or a tracing pin. Each of the spools has a gear portion that meshes with the other gear portion of the other spool. When a marker or tracing pin is moved a corresponding movement is made by the marker in the other stylus holder. The machine allows for the tracing of an image or for simultaneously drawing two copies of an image.

  • Patent number: 6409572
Abstract: A stuffed doll which is adapted to simulate human-like facial expressions. The doll is provided with upper and lower movable face members. The upper face member incorporates a simulative human upper lip. The upper member also includes eyes which can be manually adjusted. The lower face member is simulative of a lower lip and jaw of a human. The contours of the upper lip and lower lip are designed such that when the lower lip is moved in a position abutting the upper lip the expression of the doll appears to simulate one of sadness. When the lower lip is spaced from the upper lip, the simulative expression is one of joy. The upper and lower lips may be spaced in extreme open positions such that the doll simulates an exaggerated open or big mouth.

  • Publication number: 20020066195
Abstract: A hand drawing machine which is used to copy a planar image by hand onto a piece of paper or other suitable flat material. A tracking means for correlating movement of both styluses in the horizontal direction and a guiding means for correlating movement of both styluses in the vertical direction are utilized in both embodiments. The hand drawing machine of either embodiment of the present invention utilizes a framework for holding the hand drawing machine steady relative to a flat surface enabling a user to place the hand drawing machine on any suitable flat surface such as a drafting table. The tracking means is slidably attached to the guiding means forming an assembly. The assembly is firmly attached to the framework by an attachment means. The tracing stylus holder is in mechanical communication with the marking stylus holder, through the assembly, such that any movement of the tracing stylus holder reproduces a corresponding movement in the marking stylus holder.

  • Patent number: 5476070
Abstract: A first walker aid is provided for an infant, which consists of a chest strap applied about the upper torso of the infant to pass under the arms. Components are for adjustably fastening the ends of the chest strap together at the back of the infant. A pair of shoulder straps are each spaced apart and connected to the chest strap, so as to extend over the shoulders of the infant. Elements are for adjusting each shoulder strap, so that the shoulder straps will properly fit onto the shoulders of the infant. A hold handle strap is affixed to the chest strap at the back of the infant, so that an adult can grip the hold handle strap to retain the infant when walking and prevent the infant from falling down.
