Abstract: The pouring spout has an inlet tube detachably connectable to a liquid-storage container and an outlet tube slideably connected to the inlet tube. A liquid duct and an air duct are defined into the inlet tube and the outlet tube. A valve system is provided for opening the liquid duct and the air duct when the outlet tube is slideably moved relative to the inlet tube. The liquid duct and the air duct open separately into the liquid-storage container. When pouring, the liquid flows through the liquid duct and air separately enters into the liquid-storage container via the air duct.

Abstract: A security cap (1) for selectively closing an open end (3) of a pipe (5). The security cap (1) includes inner and outer cap assemblies (7, 11), at least one latch (17), and a driving assembly (21). The outer cap assembly (11) is rotatable with respect to the inner cap assembly (7), and along with it, is intended to cover the open end (3) of the pipe (5). Each latch (17) is cooperable with the inner and outer cap assemblies (7, 11), and displacable with respect to the cap assemblies (7,11) so as to be operated between first and second configurations, wherein in the first configuration, each latch (17) is drawn away from an outer groove (19) of the open end (3) of the pipe (5) thereby enabling the security cap (1) to be removed from the open end (3) of the pipe (5), and wherein in the second configuration, each latch (17) is engaged with the outer groove (19) thereby preventing the security cap (1) from being removed from the open end (3) of the pipe (5).

Abstract: Disclosed is a pouring spout of the type comprising an inlet tube devised to be detachably connectable to the container for receiving the liquid stored therein and an outlet tube slideably connected to the inlet tube for guiding the liquid from the inlet tube to a receiving container. A liquid duct through which the liquid stored in the container can flow, is part of both the inlet tube and outlet tube. An air duct through which air can come freely inside the container, is also part of both the inlet tube and outlet tube. Such considerably reduces vacuum formation within the container and allows faster liquid transfer through the liquid duct. A valve system is provided for simultaneously opening the liquid duct and the air duct when the outlet tube is slideably moved relative to the inlet tube.

Abstract: This invention relates to an improved pouring spout of the type of ones which are detachably connected to a filling container for transferring liquid in a receiving container. These kind of pouring spout include an inlet tube for receiving liquid from the filling container, and an outlet tube telescopically mounted to slide onto the inlet tube for guiding liquid therefrom into the receiving container. The spout also comprises a liquid valve which opens and closes automatically upon sliding of the outlet tube. The current invention further comprises an air passage and an air valve for regulating an air flow inside the spout from the receiving container into the receiving container, such that the flow of liquid inside the spout stops automatically when the receiving container is full, thereby avoiding spillage of liquid. The pouring spout of the invention also resolve the problem of emanations related to the transfer of dangerous volatile and highly inflammable liquid.

Abstract: A pouring spout having an inlet portion and an outlet portion with an outlet end. A valve is mounted in the inlet portion and a device is provided for automatically opening or closing the valve as the spout is inserted in or withdrawn from the filling neck of a container to be filled. The valve opening or closing device comprises an actuating member connected to the valve, which number is slidable relative to the outlet portion. A spring normally biases the actuating member to a rest position where the valve is closed. Insertion of the spout in the filling inlet of the container causes the actuating member to move and to open the valve. Preferably the degree of opening of the valve is controlled in order to achieve varied flow rates. A hollow rib is provided on the exterior of the pouring spout to provide an air vent into a filling container.
